I tried to watch the RSL game on the KSL website and the link that says "Watch RSL on KSL" doesn't work.

    This should work: https://ksltv.com/rsl/

It's halftime now. Ugly soccer from both teams but definitely uglier from RSL. RSL also had very little possession so overall pretty painful to watch.

That ball up the wing from Glad was pretty at least.

Seems like everyone is playing very safe. Yawn.

The play where one of our midfielders passed the ball straight to Johnny Russell alone at our 18 - not trying to pass it to anyone else or clear it or on a mis-touch - ended up with a beauty of a save from Ochoa, so there's that.

I tell you one thing I am not ready for this early in the season: homer announcers. The SKC guys are killing me, parsing everything as if we were on Decision Day.

I guess during the preseason, teams don't wear or can't wear their normal MLS jerseys.

RSL not having numbers on the backs is hard, especially when the SKC guys don't seem to know who they are/aren't interested in talking about non-Wiz players

Chris Garcia is #13? Did he get his own uniforms or did they just dust off some of Olmes Garcia's old gear?

So is Glad an outside back now? No Johnson, wonder if he managed to injure himself again or if they are just taking it easy with him still. Nice moves by Beckerman to get the ball to the end line, almost had a sweet assist. I need to be patient and wait until after a few regular season games but these 90 minutes haven't got my overly excited about Freddy's RSL.

So if this team has no intention of signing Rossi, why is he getting so much playing time?

Could be we're still considering it.

The team must be planning on signing him still, which I think would require them to loan a player out, likely to Monarchs. If not, it makes zero sense.

On second thought, it probably just makes zero sense.

    Sounds like a tag line.

    “RSL, making zero sense.”

Here’s the thing, from the limited amount of time I watched the Houston Match, Rossi really looked like the most dangerous attacking player for RSL. Maybe we need to sign him.

To be fair, I’m the only poster who has said that...and I have no sources, obviously. I didn’t watch the game, but if he is getting lots of playing time then they are probably seriously considering it and his play will dictate the contract offer. Honestly, I hope it works out. We truly need an elite finisher and assist man. To be consistent though, I’ll officially remain skeptical.

Similar strange lineup with Glad at RB and Herrerra on the wing.

To be honest, through 15, PRFC has outplayed RSL despite the 1-0 RSL lead.

PRFC equalizes 1-1 off a great set piece taken that nearly beat MacMath directly but hit post and was redirected into net

Matt Doyle was the only one of the MLSSoccer.com pundits to give us a chance to make the playoffs.

Schmitt and Portillo also with starts.

You'd think we'd go with the opening day XI at least once in a preseason match. I know Everton will be suspended, but unless Portillo and Schmitt have moved way the hell up the pecking order, this isn't that.

2-1 PRFC now. They've outplayed the visitors by a decent margin. RSL getting punked by a USL team - albeit a very good one. Should we be worried?
