    Play the strongest team, imo.
Will be a tough match this and we might need some height as they have some big lads and 'arry likes to go Physical against us.

    @DiabloRogue

Maybe next week against Norwich at home, but not in this one.

Need to win this and hope Chelsea get something against City.

for all the sh-- fergie gets for being too stuck in his ways, we've played a lot of 433 and diamond this year.

i'd really like us to give a good run of games to the rvp-rooney-nani trio so that they can develop an understanding like it's 07/08 again.

Don't be surprised if Nani is left out of this one.

What does that matter? Nani hasn't stopped being our best winger since Ronaldo left but time and again SAF finds a way to play donkeys ahead of him.

I have a theory that even playing at LW, Nani can make Valencia. Tony looked so much better at RB when he had room to get up to speed it was like there were two different players BN and AN. That's before Nani and Ante-Nani.

Either that, or Nani plays this one and still doesn't get Madrid.

Against Madrid it depends on the tactics we want to go with, but i'll be surprised if he doesn't get the QPR game now he has finally delivered this season. SAF will want to test waters further and the comments suggest that.

Btw, Johno going into a good fanboy hyperbole there. :D

I don't see it as that, to be honest. I see it as Fergie ********ing about as usual, praising a player one day and dropping him the next. It's happened before.

How about giving Vidic and Rio a game together as a pair this week so they can both be rested for Madrid?

As much as I love Vidic, he shouldn't start against Madrid.

Seems like Rooney is going to sit this one out, same sinus problem that kept him out of the Reading game.

I hope Welbeck gets the call to partner RvP, Hernandez has been shocking when he starts matches, always so much more effective off the bench.

Yeah shocking is more in comparison to how good he has been off the bench this season. When he's come on late in the game he's always had chances and given defenses trouble, but starting he just goes missing and looks another player.

There is absolutely no reason to rest anyone here - no game midweek and a chance to go 15 points clear.

QPR may just bunker like against other big teams, Troare will be a weak link in defense and should be exploited.

For that reason I'm expecting 3 points.

    No excuses.
