Nani, Jones out of the game. We'll probably see Young, he has not started in a while.

    The lineup I'd put out:

    De Gea

    Rafa
    Smalling
    Evans
    Evra

    Carrick
    Anderson

    Young
    Rooney
    Kagawa

    Welbeck

Shit the game is starting so late. I might have to miss the last half.

Glad for the late kickoff. I went against my rules and allowed someone to schedule me for a United matchday... luckily I should be done in time to get home and watch the game.

    I'll settle for outscoring them.

I'm a journalist. But in this case, schedule me refers to a service I provide to friends and family -- I coach kids and prep them for exams. You'd never guess it by my posting style, but I get along great with kids (and most everyone).

I'd be okay with something like this, I guess:

De Gea; Rafael - Vidic - Evans - Evra; Carrick - Giggs; Young - Kagawa - Welbeck; RvP

Any news on how far away Scholes is? He would come in more than handy when we have a lead and want to see things out. Hopefully he'll be back soon.

SAF mentioned Scholes in the programme, said he's about to train again.

2-1 to us....that cock LeFondre will get one.

Manchester United XI v Reading: De Gea, Smalling, Ferdinand, Vidic, Buttner, Welbeck, Giggs, Anderson, Young, Rooney, van Persie.

    subs

Lindegaard, Evans, Valencia, Hernandez, Carrick, Powell and Kagawa

I'm okay with resting Rafa or Evra, but wouldn't rest them both at the same time, particularly not when we also rest Carrick. I hope this doesn't bite us in the ass because a win today would all but wrap up the title.

We will need good performances by Rooney and Ando and par from Giggs and van Persie.

If we wrap up the title early, cannot wait until we see some youngsters given time. I agree regarding the full backs, that is why I put Evra rested Rafa, at least we'll get to see Buttner. I like the lineup, though the midfield is not made to retain the ball, maybe we won't need to with this type of game.

This is the kind of lineup which can mess up a home game against Reading.

So rest both fullbacks, top 2 cms while our best winger is sidelined? That makes no sense.

christ johno, we still wayne, rvp and welbeck out there.. at home..against reading.

we looked exhausted in that second half of the cup game. this makes sense to me.

If we keep winning, I think SAF will attempt to break the 95 point barrier.

right and how will they get the ball if Reading press us with 2 CMs that are allergic to possession and 2 of the least technically gifted fullbacks we could possibly field? Don't rest both fullbacks at once while also resting Carrick and not playing Cleverley or Kagawa. It just seems silly to me. I'm not saying I think we will lose or drop points, but this is far from ideal.
