Is this the first game you have watched this team play? They have been utter shit for 2.5 years most nights. Wouldn't you prefer to watch them play as professionals should, rather than a bunch of ragmuffins? MO made many changes in the first two seasons, and promised a competitive squad, and a dp, or two, and a defender, or two. I pay for my seats, and am getting mediocrity in return. Soccer is a passionate sport. If this club played in Argentina or Brazil, you would be burning their clubhouse and kidnapping players mothers if they played this bad. I find this unwatchable: too bad because I really want them to improve, and that is why I keep watching.

One thing that may be a factor here (nah, probably not): FC Dallas had the wind at their backs in the first half. TFC will have that in the next 45.

Oh ya, and we'll also get to hear that ridiculous jingle before the PA guy there announces the player subs in the second half (why do they have that?).

No way to brining in Ricketts for Ibrahim. Ibrahim is better. He's just not a striker.
Really we're back to where we were last year. No striker.

I find TFC never positions itself well up front. It's always a cross from the wings. There's never any dangerous passing around the box. You never feel like TFC could score.

they had a terrible half. against the worst team in the league. a team with only one point. which they got against us at home.

Seriously, some times you guys are idiots. Bench all the good players?

Vitti should be given a chance to score though.

I'm sorry to say, but Ibby is overrated. He had a great first game and that has carried him. Most of the time he looks like a kid playing with adults.

Well they got Lombardo 2.0 as striker, what you gonna do ... one day they'll get a striker that can finish ... hopefully before the Sun goes supernova.

    Pretty pathetic...

And it's Carver's fault... They keep pushing the long ball hoof and pray that not even England plays anymore (because it doesn't work)... yet he keeps forcing and forcing it... The sad thing is TFC controlled the play in the first 20 minutes when they played more on the ground, but they opt for the long ball instead...You have guys that can't make an impact even if they wanted to because the ball flies over the midfield... Ad he keeps pushing Barrett when the guy truly has no clue...

    FIRE HIS ASS ALREADY...

When I remember the excitement about the Vitti signing, and Mo talking about it ... and then they don't play him .... bizarre ... I can see it now, they bring him in at the 85th minute.

Would you all lose respect for me if I said I was in love with Barrett again?

I agree. OK. Not great but he hasn't wasted too many balls. He holds on and tries to do something. His youth and inexperience is obvious but I like him for the future.

He almost gave it up (didn't hear the man on call)...I am still not impressed. He scored a goal he really should have it, what about the other 8 sitters this season?

I'll second that. The learning curve is huge for this guy, considering what TFC has to work with at the moment.

Well, it was bliss for Barrett for a couple minutes there.

He took it cleanly with an open chance, that's all he needs to do.

This will hopefully get him on track for the next eight sitters.

Barrett just got a yellow for mouthing off at the linesman.

BTW, Cunningham's coming in for FC Dallas.
