That was my understanding. I think we just need at least a tie and we are through, based on GD vs. Saprissa which we lead 2-1. Gotta love the accuracy of the Champions League website....

I think if two teams are tied, the first tiebreaker is points in the games between the two teams, which we lead 4-1.

This might be a good time to have this conversation since we're experiencing the impotency of our home broadcasters first-hand. I don't know jack about broadcasting rights and networks live sporting events and ONN and all that, but does anyone know what ONN pays to do MLS games locally and how do they determine what they can and can't show? Just curious.

 

No, I remember looking up all the tie-breakers. I remember GD between the tied clubs coming a good bit before the GD in all matches....
