So here is a new rumor from MLSRumors.net:

Chris Pozniak is to sign with TFC next week. the news actually comes from a Scottish newspaper:

    http://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/Article.aspx/1284627?UserKey=

The reliability of this is probably under question...I still remember how the Scottish newspapers stated Jamie Smith was supposed to sign with TFC in early June.

***I guess this can be a forum for any new tfc rumor/transactions

Considering the source, I wouldn't put any stock into it. mls-rumors.net is kinda like the MLS version of Fox News: they love to make s**t up and believe it to be true.

I'm also getting word that Lombardo is coming back for a year 1 reunion! :D

If it's true I'm fine with it. He's a welcome addition to me and wasn't really bad.

It is true, they are talking to him right now, but haven't agreed to anything as TFC is first trying to sign someone that is going to cost BIG money (that is the term the person I spoke to used lol).

Nice to see that he made an impact in Scotland.

Rumours abound. It all make sense though. He provides cover and has been training with the club for a month prepping for the Gold Cup. I imagine he must have been a bit gutted not to be selected for the team being left on the three man taxi squad.

Did that person give you any hints as to who or at least what position?

The Poz rumour has been posted on the Footy Blog, which does give it a bit more credibility.

I'm wondering how a year of Scotland first division may have impacted his play.

Well reading the Dundee discussion board kind of gives the impression that he did something good there.

He had been training w/ TFC but Cummins kept playing it down saying there was nothing to read into that...
Well we know how the front office keeps everything under wraps these days.

Well he's playing in the Gold Cup anyways so it might be a while anyways.

No he didn't unfortunately, he was on the phone with Poz and that is what Poz told him. So my guess is he didn't know or he wouldn't say.

Julian De Guzman might be the guy for the 'big money'.

MLSNet.com had a video segment where they reported Mo made a substantial DP offer to JDG recently.

Ya, Shep Messing said that Toronto FC made JDG an offer this past weekend in L.A.

He was 100% sure that it had happened.

would i love to be wrong and TO does sign JDG-- that would be a real coup by MO and earn him a lot of respect from the TO fans who have been exceedingly patient... and the team will be in a really good position to make a run at the championship and mls cup IMO-- he's that good a player
now if canada had another 4-5 players like him!!!
