I'll repeat what I said some time ago: this Mexico team is worse than the one at the beginning of the 2001 hex.

Unconvincing. If the US wants to take advantage and go for their first win in the Azteca, now is their chance.

USA has been playing crap lately too and vs Costa Rica it was the worst team in years , I think they will continue to play like that for the remaining away games. Including in Azteca.

I don't think those two are as bad as Mexico is right now.

Mexico started out dominating but the game slipped out of their grasp, and Trinidad got back in it. Their midfield look creative and the flanks did their jobs, but something was wrong with the finishing. The defense made numerous errors giving the ball away in the first half that a better team would have taken advantage of.

Trinidad played good, Dwight Yorke did a good job marking Cuauhtemoc (for me the best green player despite his age, and still a whiner) Ince was a wall between the posts, but there wasn't much he could have done against either goal.

Something just isn't clicking for Mexico, it did for the first 10 minutes before they lost it. They'd better find it fast if they're heading south to CONMEBOL.

I think this players were not chosen wisely by Aguirre, it reminds me Medford`s style, when he called players that were not at their top level

T&T looked horrible, if you didnt know any better you'd think they were allowing themselves to be beat. As BAD as T&T played the score should have been MUCH different.

And you are right , Mexico is playing whack but looking at USA's previous performances we can win this.
Costa Rica is right now playing with technique but they also fell to Mexico in Azteca . I'm sure US will too , I just don't wanna see how Mexico will do in CR cause we will prolly fall hard.

Medford's problem was his hard-on for Saprissa players:p Dos Santos should have come on sooner.

Aguirre has been gone from the Mexican soccer for a while I'm sure he is testing players and it's extremely difficult to rebuild a team on a serious crisis.

Since no Mexican players are in leagues that go through the summer (minus Blanco), are the players likely to be any closer to their top level in August?

Copa Oro should aleviate some of our issues and I think we can use that to work on technique.

Be careful, eduarditto or whatever his new ridiculous nickname is, is gonna bad rep you, he always does it, when i talk about cuahu cuahu, thats the reward I get for making a good comment about this whining baby, if he doesnt badrep me, i guess my comment wasnt good then
But the truth is that this whining baby was the best mexican player tonight, he deserves a 6, the rest of the team deserves a 5
Trinidad says bye bye to the WC, Pirate jack is gonna be upset, i expect jamaican referees on their next game :D

I actually think that we wont beat mexico at saprissas, we wont lose, but we may not win. I see Costa Rica winning in Honduras AGAIN, and if we do so, we will be overconfident for the mex game. I see mexico winning vs the US and motivated for the CR game

So i expect a draw at Saprissas, 4 points for mexico and 4 for Costa Rica on their next 2 games, I wouldn't mind giving mexico some help, they actually need it now :D lol

Mexico needs to go to SA if we want to remain with 3 slots for 2014.

Or the three/four that go need to step it up and stop depending on Mexico to be the only one that makes it past the first round. Either that, or at the very least, be competitive enough to make some kind impact in the group stage.

If Mexico don't make it, I think it'll just go down from 3.5 to 3.

not pleased but they showed flashes of good playing, hopefully the team gets enought playing time to click by august. The gold cup and the friendlies should help.

The defense was garbage today once rafa is back it should improve.

I think the way cuahu is feeding the balls up front, vela should be playing, his speed with nery and cuahu feeding the ball would be lethal.

a win is a win and it gives aguirre some more breathing room.
