We are in talks with the Scot's American Club in Kearny NJ to see if we can get the US/Honduras game shown at the bar for the 10/10 clash in Honduras. From my understanding, there is around a $1500 charge to every bar that shows this game and legally they will have to charge a $20 door charge per person. Which means $20 here, $20 at Nevadas in NYC, $20 at Jack Dempsey's, $20 where ever. We are looking to try to get at least 30 people to show up to help justify the costs to the bar outside of their normal clientele. We are also exploring options of drink specials and a possible free drink or two with the paid admission. (the more people we can bring, the better bargaining chip we have in this department) We would also provide some simple food (burgers, dogs, wings) for the event. We met with them again today and it looks like we will not be able to do this. They wanted us to front the money and we would need 70 to show to make our money back. Since we can't really guarantee that, we had to shelf it. We'll probably end up at Nevadas for the game.
