You're right. This is not the best thread for it. I'll start one for you : https://www.bigsoccer.com/community/threads/portuguese-players-are-the-most-hated.1975208/
I agree with you, nani never gets credit for what he produces on the field, he is always involved in a lot of the goals Manchester united score and nani never gets credit only the goal scorer does and if I was nani I would leave to a team team that would appreciate him more
Viana played about 20 minutes for us on Saturday against the Vancouver Whitecaps. He had a good look at goal just a couple minutes after taking the field but passed it off instead. He did take one shot on goal and had an almost rugby like tackle. I'm hoping for good things from him and some longevity with RSL. And, it's nice to watch someone with ties to Portugal in my backyard.
Gotta admit that I haven't heard of him before http://www.goal.com/en-us/news/1110.../david-viana-finds-a-home-with-real-salt-lake
I had not either, until we signed him. Quite a surprise. I'm hoping that once adjusted to our MLS schedule we can see him play more minutes next season. Not entirely sure what our roster will look like next year so lots of possible opportunity on the horizon.
20 years old and playing in MLS? He must not be that good of a player. He is half french and represented Portugal, but I don't know much about this kid.
Well, MLS may not be the creme dela creme of the soccer circles, but we like it. He seemed to make enough of an impression that we were watching him all the way out here in Utah. And if it gives him playing time, that can only help. We'll see more next season when he gets on our playing schedule as opposed to the European one he is used to.
Wilson Eduardooooooooooooooooo. Scored 2 goals. Taking names, blasting goals away. Portugal's future king.
This is crazy and dangerous. Coentrao pushes the guy to the ground and gets kicked in the face because of it. Luckily the kick didn't hit him in the eye.
Paulo Ferreira played as a sub in the Chelsea winning over Monterrey (3-1) in the World Club Cup in Japan.
Pizzi scored a hell of a goal today in the surprise victory for Corunha v Malaga 1-0 (Domingos' 1st game as coach too): http://www.101greatgoals.com/gvideos/golazo-pizzi-deportivo-la-coruna-v-malaga/
