Portuguese Players Playing Abroad - Thread No. 5 [R]

He's been playing well last few times I have seen him scored a cracking Free kick not long ago.

 

and had a couple of assists.

 

Eliseu Pereira dos Santos scored a goal in Malaga 4 - 2 win against Osasuna over the weekend.

He currently has 4 goals and 3 assists.

 

Too bad hes a winger though

 

Although Valencia is currently losing 2-0 to Barca Manelele is playing absolutly fantastic, dribbling everyone and one of the few thats making really good passes, some good tackles and covering for the defence..and he dribbled through toure and Puyol like they were nothing.

He looks really sharp.

Miguel still looks a bit fat.

 

Yeah Barca got smoked 4 - 0. But apparently Fernandes was very good.

 

A beautiful goal it was.

Edinho (a striker Queiroz has been looking at recently) scored the late winner today for AEK Athens in the 85th minute, the 26 yr old ex-Setubal player is the #9 for AEK Athens.

I believe we will be seeing this guy in the Finland friendly.

 

I doubt it. I don't believe he was even on the pitch for the other 2 goals.

 

Does it really matter if he wasn't on the pitch for the other goals? He'd be asked to come off the bench for Portugal too. We could definitely use a super-sub striker atm.

 

Edit: We could definitely use a, any striker.

 

Pedro Mendes scored a screamer yesturday.

 

Why? Cluj made the CL which is great for that club.

 

Actually 4th, but have the same points as Timişoara its just they have a lower goal differential.

 

I am happy to see this Pele on loan to Portsmouth, hopefully he gets his opportunities and takes them.
