    The crowd atmosphere should be interesting. Around 15% of the population is Portuguese :cool:

    My team: 18 players

    Coach: Felipe (I wish I was in Brazil right now)

    GK: Moreira (I can't believe I'm a backup to this dud) Moreira
    GK: Ricardo (Wow the goalies must all really suck in Portugal) Ricardo
    RB: Miguel (I only have gear...really f~ckin fast)
    RB: Paulo (I look like I'm 16) Ferreira
    LB: Caneira (I'm over here Scolari!...It's me!)
    LB: Jorge (Well atleast I'll get to say I saw Luxembourg) Ribeiro
    CB: Ricardo (Damn I'm good...Did i tell you I was good?) Carvalho
    CB: Jorge (I have legs that any woman would kill for) Andrade
    DM: Costina (Even in a neckbrace - Scolari'd still play me) Costinha
    DM: Petit (Alteast I'm not as ugly as Tiago) Petit
    DM: Tiago (Atleast I'm not as ugly as Petit) Mendes
    DM: Maniche (I wish I had Nuno's hair - I hate him) Ribeiro
    CM: Deco (I dive more than a Chinese olympic diver) Deco
    FW: Cristiano (I can now afford to buy all of Madeira) Ronaldo
    FW: Simao (Can I wear my Benfica jersey against Luxembourg) Sabrosa
    FW: Luis (I'll give you the beats if u look at me funny) Boa Morte
    FW: Pauleta (I just close my eyes, turn and shoot) Resendes
    FW: Helder (Where's my frikken mirror) Postiga

    Starting 11: I'd protect Miguel and Costinha.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~Ricardo~~~~~~~~~~~
    ~Ferreira~~Carvalho~~~~Andrade~Caneira
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~Petit~~~~~~~~~~~
    ~~~~~Deco~~~~~~~~~~~Maniche~~~
    ~C. Ronaldo~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Simao~~
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~Pauleta~~~~~~~~~~

    If we're up by atleast 3-0 at the half
    Boa Morte in for Cristiano Ronaldo 46', Postiga in for Deco at 60',
    J. Ribeiro in for Carvalho at 60'.

    That's the team Scolari will call-up, and the team he should call-up. Rui Jorge is all but done, and Viana still has alot of work to do to even be considered. I think Scolari will call-up Jorge Ribeiro and Caneira again, but he may leave Moreira out again, as to not throw off Ricardo, thus the rest of team, as they are playin pretty well.

    Luxembourg callups:

    Besic (FC Swift Hesperange), Oberweis (CS Grevenmacher), Hellenbrand (Spora Luxembourg), Hoffmann (FC Etzella Ettelbrück), Peters (FC Swift Hesperange), Reiter (US Luxembourg), Schauls (AS Jeunesse Esch), Federspiel (FC Etzella Ettelbrück), Schnell (SV Eintracht Trier), Cardoni (AS Jeunesse Esch), Di Domenico (FC Swift Hesperange), A Leweck (FC Etzella Ettelbrück), Mannon (FC Etzella Ettelbrück), Remy (F91 Dudelange), Braun (AS Jeunesse Esch), Collette (FC Swift Hesperange), Da Luz (FC Etzella Ettelbrück), Huss (CS Grevenmacher), Ch Leweck (FC Etzella Ettelbrück).

    Da Luz sounds like a Portuguese name (maybe one of the '14.23% of me' CrisRicHeldTiago spoke of).

    Their #1 goalie is out:

    Defender Strasser and midfield player Molitor are both suspended while No1 goalkeeper Flick has a knee injury and will not recover in time for the home match next Wednesday.

    I hope they come out blazing in the first half and take command of this game but I'm worried that the team could be tired. Ronaldo has been sub-par in his last few games for Manu and there are other players like Maniche that just look tired and uninspired.

    Jorge Ribeiro and Boa Morte to starter

    VIAGEM PARA O LUXEMBURGO AMANHÃ
    Jorge Ribeiro e Boa Morte no onze nacional

    If anyone should be used to playing In fog it should be our players in England. Little known fact through the entire history of England they have had only seven sunny days, the rest were rainny, foggy or both :rolleyes:

    Well, now will be the chance for us to really see what Boa Morte is capable of now that Simao is injured. I hope to see a lot of him tomorrow and play Quaresma instead of CR (or at least sub him in at ht) so we can see what he can do at a senior level.
