Ugh, god damn it. The usual story. Missed a ton of wide open chances and then gifted them a goal.

That was deserved. Why not start the tournament with a performance that epitomizes Portugal's inability to not Portugal all over the place?

I'll take it. Iceland have a good team and beat some great teams to qualify

Overall a good point as Iceland imho is the strongest team that we will face in the group and they brought some great support.

We dominated and managed to break them apart every play very unlucky and Ronaldo is too selfish that last FK I have seen Guerreiro bury many times

On to the next which I believe is Austria who are completely down on morale and their best center back got red carded today

We were given the easiest group in the history of the competition and still found some way to ******** it all up

Calm down guys. Judge the team after the group stage. We looked nervous. I'm sure things will improve.

It seems like Portugal is always in some type of upset in one way or the other. Just can't win in a convincing fashion against lesser talented sides. I knew this was going to be a tough game for them for some reason...

Oh shut up what does that have to do with anything how many times have we with 10 million people being out teams with 10 times our size

That Iceland team beat the Netherlands twice and the Netherlands population is 30 million

what pissed me off the most is our teams inability to defend any high ball situation. It can b a corner cross in the box cross out wide......we always looks like chickens running around when there is a high ball situation. this is ridiculous

Content is the word there arguably the best team outside of us in the group plus they're super physical team and we don't always do well with physical teams Especially physical teams that bunker we managed to do something that teams in the past haven't done break bunkers which we did a very good job of

It's tough to stay calm with Portugal. These are the type of teams you have to finish more of those chances against.

But I guess they always seem to struggle a bit against very strong defensive teams.

Again that comes down to size Vierinha is a natural right winger who is playing right back with you been doing for a few years now and is going against guys that are over 6 foot two he's only
I am satisfied in the position we find ourselves in when we have to play Austria and Hungrt two teams that look a lot worse than Iceland

and now what's gonna happen is Austria an Hungary are gonna pull some WW1 trench warfare style of play. and we gonna get frustrated and end up with a tie in both games.
