I didn't really care about who wins, but I just spotted Pauleta and now I'd like to see Portugal win!

Hungary drew Iceland so as of right now (If the score holds up 0-0) the table would look like this

    1. Hungary 4pts
    2. Iceland 2pts
    3. Portugal 2pts
    4. Austria 1pt

It would all go down to the wire in the last group game with Hungary playing Portugal and Iceland playing Austria.

Ronaldo has been unlucky today (especially the last few minutes).

I guess Ronaldo can't score at the Parc des Princes. ;)

Frustrating result for Portugal, but this game has been pretty entertaining!

I am predicting Portugal and Iceland to win next game.

I think your right. The law of averages will kick in for Portugal, and Iceland will continue their Cinderella story.

I think Portugal wins next game. Hungary does not match up well to this type of team. All it takes is one goal for Portugal and the flood gates will open. If Hungary is forced to push forward they will be killed on the counter by Ronaldo, Quaresma and Nani.

As for Iceland-Austria I feel anything can happen there. Based on form you would expect a draw, but Austria will feel pressure for 3 points so they will play more open.

All it takes might be one goal but will it be scored? Plus defensively we have not been as good as I had hoped.

We could still go through with a draw either in second place or third, hopefully it does not come to that as that would mean probably Italy or Spain although if we finish first we probably will get Belgium so in all likelihood if we progress we will play one of the favourites.

Mr. Almer will be in Ronaldo's nightmares tonight. Ronaldo missed a couple of chances sure, but credit should be given to Almer he made some great saves. There was one particular where Ronaldo just smashed the ball - it was travelling....

Based on form I would say Iceland should win. Austria have been incredibly disappointing in my eyes. I can't even fathom how they got 9 wins, 1 draw, 0 losses in qualifying. I know it wasn't the strongest group but its still amazing considering right now they don't look like they can beat anyone.

Yeah I agree. Sweden and Russia are quite weak teams though, and so far, both teams have proved that in this tournament. Although I hope Russia wins tonight.

This Portuguese campaign reminds me on their campaign in South Africa 2010. Two draws against Brazil and Ivory Coast and very high victory against North Korea 7-0. Similar scenario could happen against Hungary. Portugal plays very good in my opinion, they create records in created opportunities, but they dont have any luck at all.
Ricardo Quaresma became again like in previous years. Ronaldo runs, creates chances, same is with Nani. They should end in quarter finals if we observe the game quality.
