Ok not the pope but the Vatican. But why the crap would they be editing a page about Gerry Adams!! http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/northern_ireland/6949153.stm
Benedict XVI did his dissertation on St. Augustine, so I wouldn't have any problem if he wanted to edit that entry.
I know of certain computers at certain colleges and public libraries that have been used to edit Wikipedia entries about a certain bigsoccer poster's hometown, claiming things like the Marx Brothers took their stage names there, and listing seven or eight porn performers as being from there. Who would've thought that John Holmes had so many birthplaces?
What the crap!!! Anyway, i suppose the Vatican have a right to edit whatever they want on Wikipedia. No matter how random it seems. I mean the article didnt condem Adams, it stated that newspapers had claimed there was evidence to link him.
They didn't, necessarily. Somebody at the Vatican did. That person may or may not have been acting in an official capacity.
