I'm sure this has been done at some point, but a few weeks before an election I figured this would be a fun exercise!

    So, how do you score??

it puts me fairly squarely in the middle of the libertarian left.

I don't know how accurate that is, I am normally more to the center on economic matters and to the left on social issues, but whatever.

Usually my economic beliefs put me a little more right than this, and my social beliefs slightly "lower." Overall, not a terribly off representation.

I thought I'd be a bit more Left/Libertarian. No wonder both major parties leave me wanting more, though I have always been a registered Democrat and will hold my nose when voting for Kerry. I actualy prefer centerist ex-military types like McCain, Clark, Powell & Ventura.

Right where I thought I would be. Anyone else notice how close Bush is to Saddam Hussein on the "social scale"?

I think I'm drifting further to the bottom left of that chart the longer I have to put up with Bush. It's funny how "left" I am on economic issues. That's probably mostly driven by my distrust of corporations, as I feel very strongly that the gov't has a responsibility to be fiscally accountable.

I took this a few weeks ago. I fell pretty close to where I thought I would, but I thought the questions were a little biased to the left, libertarian quadrant. With everyone reporting so far that they have fallen in that quadrant, emphasizes my point. It's been a while, but the questions like, "Do you think a corporation is only accountable to the shareholder?" are going to bring up an obvious "no" from everyone but the extremely radical free-marketer. The poll was kind of fun, but I'm not convinced it was terribly accurate.
