Jusko looked solid. Should turn out to be a nice pickup for us.

I remember Mike "lego" Gallego from the 1988 Oakland A's. Does that count?

I was at the Post Match party and talked to Robert Warzyca <--- Spelling

Former Crew player and Current Assitant coach. I asked him about Juskowiak. He told me he will fit in nicely and he will help out Metro, once he gets the rust out, he will be fine.

Polish Power. I know that's the old Wrestler Ivan Putski's old nickname, but I think it can work here.

I remember Jusko from the SPORTING CP days, it was around '95-'96. If he could get back into similiar form then he would be a force with Mathis up top and Guevara trailing. Never was a prolific scorer but very good with his back to the goal, solid passer, and good vision in the attacking third. Hopefully he can regain some of that past form.

    VIVA METRO!!

and the metros need someone with vision, to make things more interesting and not so predictable, i think he is a good pick-up for us, besides it can't hurt with just a few games left who else could you get but get what you can.

since you're such a history buff, don't you remember WORLD CUP 1974 and ARG v POL?

    the result was quite different!!!

i'm sure you can look up all the players yourself

Weird, I talked to a few Polish guys from Chicago who kind of wish he was on our bench. Reportedly he doesn't score a lot, but his goals are game winners in a clutch. Bob does well with the Eastern Europeans, even if only a season or two. And then there was "washed up in the Bundesliga" Nowak who could probably still get it done today in the midfield.

    Trust the Bob.

Here's my Jusko chant (this will only work when he starts scoring):

Just like that "Ice Cream/ You scream" rhyme:

    Yoo-sko!
    He Scores!
    He Scores for Metro!

    and/or...
    Yoo-sko!
    He Scores!
    Jusko's a Metro!
