Watched bits of both Pohang and Seoul matches - Pohang match was absolutely outstanding, especially since they managed to get the result despite some shady officiating.

Seoul were in shambles - I caught the last 30 minutes of the game not knowing the score, and the way Seoul played looked as if they were leading the game. It got better in the last 15 minutes or so when the players finally became desperate enough to go for the winning goal, but no cigar.

That guy is a frigging brick. Defenders bounce off him like ping pong balls off a wall. Considering his physical stature, age, and his actual style of play (ie. finesse, ball on foot), that's really impressive.

Off topic, but if someone told me he was a 혼혈 or a South East Asian, I would believe that someone.

Middle eastern Refs are the worst refs in the world.

    Pohang 1-0 Umm Salal HT

Pohang rock, hit the bar/post twice already and went close a few times, and finally got on the scoresheet by a great header from Hwang Jae-won off a corner kick at the death of the first half.

Umm-salal's No.10 & 17 on the right flank are their weakness. Pohang should exploit that more in the second half. Also need to be sharp on crosses and chances...

2-0 Kim Jae Sung scored on a header about 10 minutes ago

They must keep the clean sheet!

I hope a 2-0 is a good enough lead for the away fixture. Pohang might come to regret Noh Byung-joon and Stevo's misses...

And Choi Hyo-Jin's one on one chance with the GK. He should have put that away. But, in the second half, a lot of Pohang players seemed to have run out steam. It's understandable because of hectic league schedule. Before Pohang travels to Qatar and play a 2nd leg match on the 28th, they need to play Gwangju first on the weekend. This is just crazy. I really hope Farias don't use any players that featured in today's match.

Davi not getting red carded was one of the worst calls I've ever seen.

Saw the match last night. Totally agreed that BITC AsS Davi should have been red carded, but as you know, ref were from middle east. He fouled and kicked Pohang GK numerous times but no cards ?!? so pissed.
Pohang should have won the game by at least 4 goals.

It just occurred to me that Kim Myung-Joong was discharged from the army, and hence Gwangju, and scored this weekend for Pohang. Very timely release and it is a terrific option for Pohang to have going into the playoffs and ACL being that he is the 7th top scorer, 5th if you include ties.

I hope he's already registered with Pohang before the semi-final tie, if not he will only be able to play in the finals.

Umm Salar's strikers must have learned their trade in Korea. Their finishing is absolutely dismal.
