Keith Todd - OUT as executive director stays as director
Paul Mariner - OUT resigned probably going to Toronto FC
Conor Clifford - OUT back to Chelsea *FA would not allow an extension to loan
Craig Noone - OUT transferred to Brighton
to be added as they leave

I confirmed with my Leeds Utd friend... he said with Peter Ridsdale, we are screwed

the way i look at it.. we are screwed either way... if his money can help right the ship... then maybe we should be thankful he was here... lets hope he doesnt totally sink us though

I was ready to throw in the towel tonight, 2-0 down after 11 mins and we were BAD, could'nt put 2 passes together, leaving players unmarked, 3 players booked because they made stupid tackles, barely hungon till HT.
I dont know what Reid said to them in the dressing room, but they scored 3 goals, hit the post and should have had 2 penalties in the second half.

if you look at it.. down 2 - 0 10min in, to a team that is 2 spots from safety is how i expected the team to play with all the turmoil going on.. Reid must have lit a fire under them.. or said whoever was on the field, if they dont turn it around was going to be released... either way it work... but they need to keep it up...

I made my prediction yesterday that we would lose 3-0 today, that was before it was announced this morning that Bradley Wright Phillips would be left out of the squad as he was going for talks with another club re a transfer.
So we lost today 3-0, we were 1-0 down after 4 mins and were outshot in the game 22-5.

So with BWP leaving we have lost our leading and league leading goal scorer our best playmaker Noone and best defenceman Johnson, but the good news if true is we have paid off our debts and the transfer embargo will be lifted next week and already 2-3 players maybe coming in on loan, hopefully one of those will be Clifford, who had to go back to Chelsea because of the embargo.

ARGYLE WIN 3-1 AT MK DONS

3 goals from unlikely source Bhasera with his first ever goal for Argyle, Keri Arnason with his 3rd ever, and Chris Clarke with his 3rd ever. Unfortunately Bhasera also scored a OG and was then injured and subbed at HT.

    Up to 13th place now

    The roller coaster continues.:D

    Charlton 2 Argyle 0

Argyle were forced to make 2 changes from the MK Dons game both Mason and Bhasera were injured. Argyle are really running out of players, we only had 6 subs for todays game including 2 17 year olds, none of the subs were used.

Argyle were doing very well in defending until Marcel Seip made a real mess of a back pass to the goalie which was intercepted and 1-0 that was in the 55th min the 2nd goal was scored in the last minute.
No game for a week hopefully the injured will have recovered, BWP has sorted out his knee and has been transferred , the transfer embargo has been lifted and Argyle have some new players in.Well one can dream.

It's only 17 days until Argyle may not exist any more.

    Argyle 1 Bournemouth 2

another home loss, if you look at the stats Argyle were all over Bournemouth, outshooting them 23-8, but with no natural scorers in the team no one was able to do the natural thing Fallon, Patterson Bolasie all blazed shots over crossbar from less than 5 yards, where all a touch was needed they tried to cream the ball into the net.

Was this the last home game ever for Argyle???

3 Argyle fans were prepared to fly to Japan to try and intimidate the Japanese directors into forking over the money they promised, bu this is on hold as they heard that a million pounds was coming on Feb 5 wont hold my breath.:(

Well today was the end of the transfer deadline for all clubs, and because of the embargo against Argyle we knew that no players were coming in but it was expected that we would lose more players, but in fact we only loss one player and he was not in the first team squad. The 2 players that were expected to go were Mason and Bhasera, both of whom are actually injured at the moment. Argyle did actually receive offers for both of them and in fact accepted an offer for Mason but he turned it down saying he wanted to stay with Argyle (he is from Plymouth) with Bhasera he went to 2 different teams for medicals but failed both times because of his knee injury which will probably keep him out for another week or so.
Today was the deadline for permanent transfers, but in a weeks time teams can make loan arrangements, so if on Feb 9 the embargo is lifted we might get some loan players in.
    Argyle play Yeovil tomorrow (tuesday).

Another defeat tonight 1-0, as usual we had most of the play, there goal a mishit that deflected off someone and went opposite direction and trickled across the line. We hit post at least once blazed shots over from 5 yards and could'nt hit the back side of a barn door.
Final nail in Coffin Bolasie sent off in last min. will be suspended for 3 games.
