Someone was asking about the fullback we had from Everton on trial, Patrick Boyle, he did go back to Everton and has now be loaned out to Crewe.

Now good news, Argyle teams played 2 games last night, First the Argyle U-18 team beat Portsmouth U-18 team 2-1 at Portsmouth in the FA Youth cup, they will now be in the 5th round home to Birmingham.
In the frendly game against Truro Argyle won 6-0, Argyle's loan signing Jutkiewicz from Everton scored 4, newly signed Chris Clark scored as well. One of the 3 trialists was suppose to look good, but would need tougher competition to tell.

Bad news, the signing of György Sándor , appears to be on hold as something has shown up in the medical he took, it maybe minor but Argyle might want to renegotiate the deal they agreed to before signing him, i think it might be a ankle injury.

No news on the Norris saga.

PLYMOUTH out of the FA Cup....

We draw first blood early at Pompey, but give up 2 and lose 2-1 in the end. reading the commentary from Skysports website, it seems we had some pretty good chances against them, but couldnt finish out. AND seems we might have been unlucky not to have gotten a penalty.

Hopefully Luggy got a good look at our newbies and can see that they can play. Now on to the CCC and trying to claw back into playoff position.

I guess you cant have a miracle run in the FA Cup every year :( But it sure was fun last year.

ALSO... i heard from the mysterious PhilStagg.... he is still around... But needs to make his presense known more on this board... Come on Phil, dont forget us Greens on BigSoccer.

David Norris wil NOT be playing tuesday against Ipswich, Luggy had decided that Norris would not be mentally right for this game. Seip will also not be available, still injured.

Good news tonight Argyle youth beat Birmingham city 3-2 to reach the last 8 in the FA Youth cup they will now be home to either Bristol city or Manchester city Jarred Stevens scored all 3 goals.

lucky to get a point i guess.... but.... how many goals have we scored since Luggy took over? is he playing a more defensive game now, ie not exciting football....

say what you want about Ollie.... when he was here, we were challenging for the playoffs, since Luggy has arrived, we've steadily dropped....

Thursday is the last day of the transfer time frame. Expect it to be announced that Norris has gone to Ipswich for an undisclosed fee (1.8 mill).
Trotman a Argyle target has signed for Preston as has Hart who was suppose to come with Clark from Aberdeen.

if Ollie made those promises to those players, and other underhanded dealings (SEB's buyout clause) he really torpedoed us good!!!

what does he have to gain in doing that though? the players that left didnt really follow him, with the exclusion of Barry Hayles, and he has played for Ollie at a couple of different teams.

But one thing is for sure, Stapleton is either casting blame on Ollie for the transfer fiasco we had, or Ollie did in fact hold a fire sale, and Stapleton lit the match... Either way, its going to be a tough road for us the remaining games of the season....

Are these new signings we have going to be able to produce goals for us???

Injury riddled Plymouth may be bringing Wotton out of drydock.....

looks like Argyle are in it deep with injuries... Paul Wotton MAY make his first
1st team game in many months....

whoa is the good ship Mayflower.... all the turmoil with "Ollie-gate" and Milan Mandarich starting the trash talk with Stapleton, its a shame the first meeting of the 2 teams since Ollie left isnt at Home Park...

It is a shame though the way Holloway went on about loving it down in Plymouth, wanting to retire there, open a pub etc.... and then a few weeks later, hes gone... to a team WAY below us in the table... all the more reason for me to think he had something to do with the exedous from Home Park at the transfer window... for David Norris to say "I will never play for Argyle again" is pretty rough stuff...

    ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?!?!

Great win for Argyle, on the road at Leicester City!!! that has to be a thrilling trip for the Green Army!!! great win, great 3 points, great satisfaction that our team that Ollie torpedoed took it to his side...

that was 3 points that we REALLY needed, and got them!!! well done boys...
