all these rumors of people leaving, but no rumors of people coming!!!! other clubs are getting stronger, we are losing people.... Hayles, possibly Chadwick, Fallon, Martin back to ManU...

does Luggy have the same skills at attracting loan players that Ollie had?

oy.... interesting days here in January... On to the 4th rounds and hopefully another long run into the FA Cup

Plymouth are away at Portsmouth for the next FA Cup tie... a revival of the old "Dockyard Derby" as they say...

would be nice to steal a win from a Prem team... but playing away from home will make this even more difficult....

No news on transfers yet, but lots of rumours. latest is SEB going to a number of teams, QPR, Wolves, for 1.5 mill. Argyle have had bids for 2 players from Aberdeen accepted, but there is doubt they want to move to Plymouth, one is suppose to be good Hart, the other Clarke, Aberdeen fans are glad he's going.
2 players from Sheff wed. Whelan and Folly, Folly playd for sturroch at Soton and Sheffield, Whelan no chance of getting him, woth over a million.
Also rumours Martin will not be back probably end up with Olly.

    UPDATE

SEB has gone to Wolves for 1.5 mill. SEB had a clause in his contract that if anyone offered more than 1.5 million he could go and Argyle could not stop him.
Martin had gone to Sheffield U. on loan from Man U.

No news on the Scots, Argyle linked to 2 players from Luton.

The fans on PASOTI not happy

    WTF!?!?!?!

doesnt ANYONE want to play for a playoff contending team like Plymouth Argyle??!?

for christ sake.... are we really THAT bad a club to play for??? someone said on PASOTI that maybe Ollie did TOO good a job for us in getting quality players here that other clubs are gobbling them up....

Hopefully the management of Argyle will use some of those pounds to buy some quality players and not bench warmers from scotland (even if Luggy does like Scots)

someone get me a drink and a revolver!!

    STURROCKS' FOLLY

Plymouth sign Yoann Folly, French U-21 player.

he's followed Luggy to several teams, and sounds like a very versatile player. Lets hope he can add something to team....

    Lost 1-0
Smith and Moult are youngsters, 2 of the better ones we have in youth setup. Why were they in squad, well SEB gone, Chadwick injured, Timar injured, Norris suspended, Doumbe got sick on trip up to Burnley.

Good news SEB got subbed in his 3-0 defeat, bad news Liecester won 2-0 and Hayles scored.
Hopefully by next game we have not lost any more players and we have a few new ones joined us.

I understand he has gone back to Everton, he played in a reserve game for Argyle, and did OK, Luggy thought it was better for him to go back and train with Everton than Argyle as they have better facilities and would probably get more games with them, he was not considered good enough to immediately go into Argyle's first team, but Luggy may go back for him later.

Argyle did sign Chris Clarke today from Aberdeen for 200,000 pounds.

any scouting report on Chris Clarke?

Depends on who you ask at Aberdeen, from their official site this http://www.afc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News/clubNewsDetail/0,,10284~1217090,00.html

On their fan site most say they are glad he has gone as he was useless, others say he was good, they were all in a greement that the other guy Hart would definately be missed, unfortunately he has gone to Preston.

There are suppose to be a number of trialists coming in the next little while, one has been listed as Ted Lavie from Bordeau http://www.setantasports.com/en/Spo...6/Championship-Lavie-to-have-Plymouth-trial-/

Still lots of rumours of players coming still 2 weeks till transfer period ends.

Just a heads up, but there may be some sad news to come out of Argyle.

It might be part of the reason the players did not have their heads in the game last saturday.

Sorry cant give any info on this one.

    More rumours/news

Norris was not at practice today.
A friendly has been arranged for tomorrow night, so some of the new guys and 3 trialists can get a game, it's against Truro a semi pro team in Cornwall.
Pasoti was a hot bed of rumours today the latest being we had signed someone today who will be introduced tuesday. With all the detectives on there the name they have come up with is György Sándor who plays for Ujpest Fc a Hungarian team.
