    HOV.

For those who haven't read my profile. My name is Christian Adams. I was born in DC raised in Gaithersburg and have been a player/fan of football since I was in 1rst grade. Grew up in the MSI Select and AYSO programs as well as playing for Junior and Senior High teams. Then I played one intramural game my freshman year at Ohio University (Athens, not OSU) and broke my shin bone (I had pads on). It was a dirty cleats out slide tackle on a 50/50 ball. Since then I have been just a fan, but always like to get in on a pickup match whenever possible.

I was at many of the DC United games when they first started, but after graduating moved to Cbus and miss home like crazy, but Ohio is my halfway meeting point because my wife is from Rochester, NY. That and she is my suga momma making lots of money for a private jet company based out of Columbus.

Other than DC United I am a USMNT fan and have been to many of their games both at RFK and here in Cbus. As far as international matches the only one I have seen other than USMNT is the 94 World Cup match between Denmark and Mexico at RFK. That was an awesome experience.

Aside from football I am a old school Art Monk, John Riggins, Dave Butz, Hogs/Redskins fan.....so you probably know how I feel about Dan Snyder. I am also a big Baltimore fan thanks to many years of Cal, Jr. If it wasn't for him and his ironman record baseball might not have been the same after the last strike. Sometimes you will catch me wearing a Nationals hat because if the Senators had still been around I might not be a Baltimore fan.

Anyway, I am a multimedia specialist by trade. I have worked at the local tv station here in Columbus, but I currently work for a contractor to USDOT/NHTSA doing all the media production. I also like developing websites on the side for a little extra money and resume padding. The only media I am not good at is print production, but I'm working on that.

Sure. Like I said in previous threads. DC comes first, but I have never had to deal with being away so when they aren't playing each other.....I get soccer when and wherever I can get it no matter how painful it might be to watch. Mind you I live in the state of the OSU Buckeyes. You would think they were a professional team. Doesn't help that Cinci and Cleveland have horrible professional teams. I'm surrounded by uncultured Whiskey Tangos! ....and then there is Nascar. Don't get me started.
