If, when all is said and done we wind up in second in our division behind Chicago, will we have any home field advantage? Will all of our matches be on the road? What are ticket prices like, same or higher? Are all the matches single elimination?

    Thanks.

    yes

If we fininsh in second, we will have at least one home game, and a maximum of 2.
We would be at home for one of the two home-away series with the 3rd place team. Then we'd either play a one-game divisional championship game in Chicago, or at RFK against the 4th place team who beat them.
Then we'd go beat San Jose or Colorado in LA.

    Here's the breakdown...

    1) If we finish in first place (highly unlikely at this point) we play our first match away to 4th place team on November 1st

2nd leg at RFK on Nov. 8th..

If we win aggregate goal series, we host Eastern Conference game at RFK on Nov. 15th

    2) If we finish in second place, we play at 3rd place team on Nov. 1st and return leg at RFK on Nov 8th..

If we win series, we either host game at RFK or play at higher remaining seed (which could only be Chicago at this point) for Conference championship..

    3) If we finish in third place, we host first leg at RFK on Nov 1st and play away to 2nd seeded team on Nov. 8th..

If we win series, we can only host championship game at RFK if 4th seeded team upsets Chicago in first round, otherwise we play away on Nov. 15th

    4) Fourth place finish - we host first leg at RFK on Nov. 1st and return leg at #1 seed on Nov 8th..

We play next round away as well if we get that far..

Final to be played at Home Depot Center on November 23rd..

So part of home-team advantage includes playing the second leg at home. That seems like a very desirable thing. If you're up after game one, you can bury them; down a bit, then you have the home crowd to give a lift.

    I don't really know.

In previous years if you were a season ticket holder, you could use some of the extra tickets (A, B, C) for the playoffs, but that hasn't happened in a while.

    It is about to change!

I read that the higher seeded team gets a choice of where the first leg is played.
Can't remember where but it makes sense.
