Pat Farmer raised a stink about this last season when the Power were to play the Cyberrays in a playoff match.....

The Beat and Freedom are the two traveling teams. Are they still limited to only bringing 16 on the road or will they be able to bring their entire squad to SAS and Villanova this Saturday?

Considering it an advantage to finishing first or second.

Consider the fact that only 16 players can take the field under league rules anyway. It's nice to have a little "choice", but if Pat Farmer is counting on that 17th player to make the difference, then he's likely to find himself in the unemploym... oh, wait. Nevermind.

    DOH! ;)

MLS has that rule, too, don't they, or something like it? I know the home team can (or used to be able to, at least) dress as many guys as they wanted (apparently "dressing out" is some sort of big reward), while the visiting team can only dress 16 or something. USL did that, too, in an attempt to hold costs down, so you didn't have to spend money on transportation and per diem for someone who you knew probably had no chance to play.
