These kids on Germany do not seem very good, or at least have not been very good in this match. We should be winning comfortably. We are running circles around them with our passing. Just the final end product is not yet there but we will get our chances. Germany only seems to counter. The pitch also looks very choppy. At times, seeing the ball is a bit of a challenge(On television).
From a pure footballing perspective, we look a lot better - you love to see it. They are tall and strong, and their captain seems to be able to pick a pass, but that seems to be it really.
We need to be a bit more careful in the back. The Germs are countering and we dodging some bullets. I think we will need another goal to put this to bed. I don't think Germany can continue to play like this if they want to progress. We will get our chances, so let's put those away. But Ruberto seems like a very promising #9. It is still very early, but the senior side reached and won the World Cup. The U17s are on the cusp of reaching the final. And only if we had a manager that was not such an incompetent fool in Masche, we could've the finals for all three (We had the U20s at home with a deep ass side and couldn't do much with Masche). Yea but that kind of curse will be broken soon or later. Germany hasnt beat Italy for like 4-5 decades but once they did it, they've won multiple times since. The same with our records at Maracana in competitive game. Once we beat them , we beat them again.
Although he hasn't been very good today, some of the touches from Diablito is just on a complete different level than anyone else at this tournament.
