    I think he probably just liked them more. Don't think he's enough of a known player for Nike to being pushing him into the Magistas.

    yeah but he's still the face of nitrocharges ya know? why couldnt he have just had adidas make battle pack nitrocharges with sprintskin? i guess we'll never know

    He rocked the CTR at a various points in his career. As a kid he wore Tiempo's and Air Rio's when he broke in the youth National Team set up until the Mercurials came out and he had a brief foray in Asics before they were back on the US market.

    He probably just liked the Magista and frankly, the new Legend leaves something to be desired at first try on. By all accounts the Obra is a pretty comfy boot and the Opus was impressive when I tired them on. I would have snagged them over the 11Pro, but they were out stock of my perfect size when I was buying.

    I know he flirted with Nike & Adidas last season but it looks like Andros Townsend is now a Adidas athlete. Shame I loved it last season when he wore the limited edition R9s!

    I found a cool video the other week of a tour around the Manchester United training ground and they go and see Albert the Kitman and it shows him stretching Patrice Evra's very soft looking Legends for him after training. I will see if i can find it again.
