Fabianski - 8 dealt with everything, good save on FK
Sagna - 5 would be higher, but dumb decision on red card
Squillaci - 5 by far, our 4th choice defender
    Koscielny - 6
Gibbs - 6 not fair, as didnt play enough
Song - 5 would be lower but had a nice assist for nasri's goal
Denilson - 3 want to tell me what a good passer he is now?
Van Persie - 7 that penalty was filthy
Nasri - 8 true matchwinner in the side
    Chamakh - 5
Arshavin - 2 close to his worst match ever with us

    Subs:
    Eboue - 6
Walcott - 8 changed the game, yet still seems uncertain at times
Bendtner - 0 literally, did more harm than good. selfish

I thought RvP, Nasri, and Walcott all looked good.

Defensively, we continue to be a mess.

Fabianski - 7 didn't do much but when asked did well.
Sagna - 6 Red card was downfall.
Squillaci - 5 If our center backs were healthy he'd only see the pitch in the CC
Koscielny - 7 Did fairly well, in my opinion.
    Gibbs - NA
Song - 4 What the hell is he thinking lately? He hardly looks up when he plays.
Denilson - 3 Not Arsenal qaulity. Wilshere should have played.
Van Persie - 7 class, just class. can't wait till he's fully fit.
Nasri - 8 Best player in Arsenal right now.
Chamakh - 5 Poor game but he won't make a happen of it.
Arshavin - Poor, just poor. Tried to hard to do flicks and tricks and lost the ball. Terrible play.

    Subs:
Eboue - 6 did well for the most part. And that run in the first half was just nasty.
Walcott - 8 Brilliant goal and changed it all.
Bendtner - Piss off. He's at the wrong North London club.

Fabianski - 7, he could've saved the shot if it wasn't for the deflection
Sagna - 6, tried his best to cross, the red card lowered his score
    Squillaci - 5
Koscielny - 6.5, good play first half
    Gibbs - no comment.
Song - 4, PLEASE PLAY LIKE A DMF SONG.
Denilson - 4, only that one pass to chamakh is good, other than that, zzz.
Van Persie - 7, sick penalty.
Nasri - 7.5 -one of the flashing stars.
    Chamakh - 6, he tried.
Arshavin - 3, jesus christ, i bought your shirt, dun make me a class clown.

    Subs:
    Eboue - 6
Walcott - 6.5, nice goal, a bit improvement, but he needs to balance himself well, especially that part where he 1vs1 with the keeper
Bendtner - 5.5, pressured the defense well, lol-ed when he took the ball away from the incoming van persie.

    Fabianski - 8...good game
Sagna - 5 good gme but like someone said dumb red card.
Squillaci - 4 - not that great a defender IMO. he can survive playing the in between games but nothing more.
Koscielny - 6 - really good tackler but not good in the air.
Gibbs n/a - wont rate since he didnt play much
Eboue - 5 I thought he did OK.
    Arshavin - 3 - terrible.
Denilson - 3 - not an Arsenal player IMO. Sucks because the club went through alot developing him but seems that went into nothing.
Song - 7 - I thought he was pretty good today. Went forward ok and came back well too and how about that dribble to set up Nari!
Nasri - 8 - pure class. not just the goal but I love how he just floats around midfielders. He really reminds me of a smaller zidane. on Rio's twitter account they call him 'the angle'... because he scores fromhard angles.
Walcott - 6.5 - good sub and shot.
Chamakh - 5 - worked hard but was pretty bad.
Bendtner - please ship to : whoever wants him in Jan.

    Song - 7
    Denilson - 5
    Van Persie - 6
    Nasri - 7
    Chamakh - 6
    Arshavin - 4

    Walcott - 7
    Bendtner - 6

note: The goal we conceded is a bit hard to analyze for me. I understand why Squillaci held but until the final moment, but I also don't think Koscielny is to blame for allowing the other attacker to get behind him. He was unfortunate not to win the ball when he closed down.

To me, it was just one of those moments. Not much one can do. If Squillaci closes the scorer down immediately and he plays the through ball to the other guy and they score anyway, does Squillaci get blamed for not holding back?

I wanted to say something like that. Squillaci seemed to get really thrown off by Kos's man getting by him. He was going in for the challenge, and then dropped slightly off to pick up Kos's player on the run, and then threw himself back at Cleo.

Squillaci should have simply closed down, but you can see what made him back off. It was an odd goal.

Fabianski - 6 Tidy. Better angel on the bangs.
Sagna - 4 Old. Needs to add different beads at least.
Squillaci - 7 Solid no thrills center back $22 cut. Knows his limits.
Koscielny - 7 What can you do with ears like that? Considering he is French and Polish not much you can ask for.

Gibbs - 6 I hope he is not ready to step out yet. Happy he is keeping it simple for now.
Song - 3 FFS! Does he need to water his head to get that BS to grow out?
Denilson - 6 Better. If you F up just start over. Well done young man.
Van Persie - 8 Solid. Very Solid. Starts with the neat burns. Push pause during the FIFA intro. He is model quality standing next to the ref. HDOTM for sure.
Nasri - 6 still a bit on the Lezbo side of town but it does suit him and his neck warmer.
Chamakh - 3. I guess I just have a different value system. I will say that he sticks with it and that has to be worth something. At this point just keep going with it. Maybe it is me.
Arshavin - 6 You are a grown man. Well.... you can at least look like one. But I can't hold it against you that much as I realize you have other things on your mind... like resting for "the big match".

    Subs:
Eboue - 7 Eboue has a get out of jail free card for just about anything much less hair so 7.
Walcott - 6 The black Ken doll. But with a cock.
Bendtner - 3 working the messy comb forward thing and thick highlights would be fine.... if you made some highlights. Come on Nick! Your way to good looking not to score goals.

Exactly. Everyone got on Squilacci for it but it was really unlucky. If anything he should get praise for getting a foot to it. He didn't do anything wrong IMO.

Not good, but certainly nowhere near as bad as the consensus here. I suspect announcer drift.

I thought he was mostly spot on. Hair style is subjective, I suppose.

Did you guys hear at the start of the game that the ref was also a hair stylist?

This board has many who know more than I do about football, can rate players, pick sides, and post more informatively then I will ever be able to. I will continue to keep it light and say what I feel about the team I love.

Arsenal fans all over the world seem to have a better disposition and sense of humor then most. We also don't look the other way when one of our players or fans acts like a dick.

Never trying to piss anyone off. Not here. You will note I never troll other boards etc.

ignore me if needed I guess. I just come here to get my news and have some fun.

Nothing wrong with that. Don't worry about the people you piss off, they'll come around. I did, it just took a minute and the ability to lighten up when I realized you fight sarcasm with more sarcasm

Announcer drift... good way of putting it. They were all over him. He was not very good but I when Theo came on I thought they were going to cream themselves. Maybe a bit upset about loosing the World Cup to Russia?
