I'm not a huge DC fan, although I id love seeing them in my one and only MLS game (Aloha Cup preseason). So I haven't really followed the team too closely this season. Not as much as others anyway. But I was wondering what ever happened to Steve Guppy? That was the name of a transfer from England right? I couldn't recall ever seeing him having been released or sold or traded or anything, so I was wondering if someone could fill me in on what happened, he seemed like a player who could make some impact for the team this season in one or two of the DC games I saw him in...
He spent the first half of the season injured, and then was finally released in July. Unfortunately we never got a chance to really see what he could do.
