Spurs getting rinsed today: McBurnie makes it 3-0.

Kane gets a consolation goal: pity Sheffield couldn't keep a clean sheet today...

The second half of 2020 has been ********ing brilliant so far. More than making up for the first half.

I don't know who to root for. Hiedenheim have an incredible story working their way up from the 5th tier in Germany with their current coach Frank Schmidt since 2007.

So glad we've steered clear of some of the CDMs that have been linked with us the past few years like Dier and Rice. Bang average, both of them.

And by the way, the VAR decision today which ruled out a Tottenham goal early on was super dodgy.
Kind of unbelievable how they manage to make a complete mess of this and as it's been mentioned before, they need to make changes so we can see some real improvements next year.
As it stands, it's a hindrance more than anything else.

That wasn't a VAR issue, it's the ridiculous handball rule.

Yes, the current rule has over-corrected for the former rule's reliance on the ref's ability to devine intent.

Foden is a special talent, unfortunately for him he is at City.

His saving grace may be the 2 year ban...

Not basing it on today's game, but if Jordan Henderson wins the Player of the Year award as it's being rumored, I can't wait to hear what this will based upon.
Not a Pool thing either because I have Mane as a more worthy candidate than him. As far as I'm concerned, it really should be between him and KdB. Van Dijk would be another candidate but the little dip Pool experienced prior to the lockdown might count against him for some.
Henderson has had a good year obviously but I just do not see how he'd seriously be in the running for that award. I really don't...

this is just another timely reminder that this liverpool side are not as great as some would like to think or as the point total might suggest

With our results this season and this result, it's a nice reality check.

Don't know how this Pool team in judged by people in terms of the best Prem teams but it does not crack my top 2 personally. That being said, not going to judge them by their showing today, as they surely are nursing a hangover from having won the club its first league title in 30yrs.
Still believe also that it's not completely out of reach that we could give them a push for the title (along with City in all likelihood and perhaps Chelsea). The team as a whole was poor in the first half of the season and we missed some of our best players for long periods of time (Pogs/Rash). We also didn't have Bruno until February and the effect he's had on the team is pretty much undisputed.
We manage to add Sancho to our current group and who knows what can happen?
A repeat of this season, with Pool just running away with it the way it happened this year, appears pretty unlikely.

Today just shows that we cant rely on Pool to take points off Chelsea. Chelsea will be coming out motivated and driving for 3rd/4th and Pool are in celebration mode and have checked out. Wouldnt be surprised if Chelsea slap them in the mouth like City did today.

Him making the team of the season: fine, I suppose. But him being regarded as the favorite for player of the year is a farce, considering who he's up against.

The race for Bellingham looks to be over and as expected, Dortmund.appear to have won.
