Premier League Sunday June 26th, 4:00 PM St James' Park, Newcastle Injured: Willems, Dummett, Lascelles, Schär, Clark, Lejeune, Krafth (NUFC) Henderson (LFC) Referee: Anthony Taylor Our final match is likely to be a drubbing, with how many of our defenders are out. I don't hope for anything from this match except the end of the season, and maybe a takeover announcement in the following week. So, we'll finish in 13th or 14th. What a shock! Surely Ashley deserves to have the club taken off his hands. Maybe the Premier League wants to wait to see if we get relegated next season - after they ruin our transfer window - and then they don't have to approve the Saudis at all. No matter. We've been through a decade of hopelessness. Assume they'll screw us over, or just maybe we'll celebrate in the end. TV: BT Sport 8 AM PDT
So that's the year wrapped up. We lost, but scored first. So little possession that there wasn't much doubt. It was touch and go, but we held on to 13th place. Woooooo! Looking forward to more of the same if the takeover is not approved this week.
