[mods feel free to edit, add the club crests etc .... I just wanted to change the channel right now ...]

Hopefully we'll get back to normal on Saturday. Early start won't help but if we can get Hendo on, with Fab back in defence it will have a huge impact.

Last season won 3-1 (Mo 2, and Hendo). A good professional display. Repeat please lads!

    This may help ....

Brighton will be without in-form right-back Tariq Lamptey for Saturday’s visit of Liverpool, while there are doubts over whether Adam Lallana can face his former club.

really glad lamptey is out. he is a great! best non Trent/Robbo attacking full-back in the league.

Lamptey has really impressed me too. Super young fullback talent.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see Phillips start at centerback. I really wasn’t expecting Matip to play yesterday. Maybe Klopp decided to go with Rhys and Matip for Wednesday, and Phillips and Fabinho for Saturday.

Since we are short of numbers at the back and in midfield, I think it would make sense to go with all four guys up front. Bobby and Jota got rested Wednesday, and I doubt he will leave out Salah or Mane.

I'd rest Mane. He needs a break. Working like hell and getting nowt. Looking tired.

I expect Mane to begin on the bench. Wondering if Hendo returns as I'm sure Jurgen would like to rest Gini if possible

No matip today not even on the bench so that's how long we could count on him staying fit.

The Guardian says "is rested" in the minute-by-minute.

    And Pearce says "not injured".

Strange he is not on the bench at least in case something should happen to fabinho. Now we will have an extremely inexpirienced back 4 if he gets injured

Thats a mad lineup today . Hopefully we'll be pleasantly surprised but at first glance it's a back four and a midfield three which has never played together as a unit . The injury problems really starting to bite now.

Looks like Klopp wants to hold Brighton until he can get Hendo and Mane on, or hopefully rest them for Ajax.

Instead of going strong in one game, and weak in the other, it looks like Klopp has tried to win both games by splitting up the players between Wednesday and Saturday.

Matip on Wednesday and Fabinho Saturday. Mane on Wednesday and Jota on Saturday. Origi on Wednesday and Minamino on Saturday. We ended up with two weakened teams instead of one strong one.

We have to remember that we have yet another difficult and important game on Tuesday.

Yep, the games keep coming and Klopp doesn't have a huge amount of options right now.

Neco should attempt to cross the ball once in a while.

yeah he’s really not up to the pace here in the PL. no need to dive in.

    minamino is just utterly lost.

We can already see that we need subs - Mané and Henderson for sure.
