Looks like most of the available sections are full, with two or three sections per group unfilled. I wonder how much of that is the new 2,500.

So how does this work since they are not opening the entire stadium? What parts of the stadium are they not selling tickets to? I just bought 4 on thrusday, but if the stadium is a 21,000 capacity and they are only selling 15,000 where are the unopended sections.

My understanding is that the 15,000 will be spread throughout the stadium, with season ticket holders sitting in their regular seats and others filling in the gaps.

About the only empty sections may be in the endzone corners where I doubt many people hold season tickets.

The concessions and restrooms in the NE section of the stadium are just now being built...my guess is that is what section will be closed.

Speaking of which...the Belhaven Wee Heavy at Trinity these days is incredibly wonderful. I highly recommend you stop by and have some.

Seems like the $10 tickets are going fairly fast, though. I couldn't get a block of 10 there. I could get 5, though.

When I registered my team at the NTPSA office yeterday at 2pm, there was a large stack of tickets sitting on the table. I asked the guy how many they had sold, he said around 80. There must have been a few hundred in that stack. He said they would be going back to FCD after they closed to be released to the public. Perhaps those are what you see on ticketmaster now.

    Nice.

    Still some tix available, apparently.

But it does look like they've made some good sales overall.

Has anyone else noticed that the count down clock on the front page of FCDallas.net is completely hosed? According to it, PHP will open at 9:15 Saturday night.

It's not awesome, it means we can't even sell out 15K.

Maybe I misunderstood - I thought you were saying that they had opened up tickets beyond 15k.

It means that the Soccer Assoc did not sell their tickets, so they returned them to be made available via Ticket Master.

I have heard nothing on a larger attendance, I just figure they have had groups return tickets for ticketmaster to sell.

I'm sure that's exactley what happened. Like I posted before, NTPSA had a stack of a few hundred late Sunday afternoon that they were planning on returning that evening to FCD. I'm sure the various youth soccer associations had similar situations. I really wouldn't be surprised if attendance was around 13.5k.
