At the prompting of the SuperMods, this sticky is intended for those coming here for the sole purpose to complain about officiating... 1) Everyone in this forum knows there have been errors--major errors in some cases. If your sole purpose of posting right now is to complain about errors, you should either go to the WC Knockout round forum - OR, you should more likely go to a team forum to commiserate with your fellow fans. BigSoccer is a massive site. There are literally at least half a dozen forums where bitching about refereeing is accepted and appropriate. This isn't one of them. This forum wouldn't have been created if that's what we were going to allow in here. 2) If you want to come here to discuss major errors and figure out why they have happened (dumb luck, bad positioning, poor decision, etc.) then this is the forum to do it in. The purpose of this forum is to analyze performances and figure out why certain calls happened, if there was a better call, and which referees are performing better than others. You are more than welcome to be critical of referees. In fact, the fellow referees here can be some of the harshest critics. But their criticism is constructive and with a purpose. Name-calling of referees and railing about bias are some of the fastest ways to rack up infractions and get banned. 2b) If you think individual matches and/or the entire tournament is rigged, that's your prerogative. But there are also millions of other people you can tell that to, so please do so. Re: Think all referees suck? Read this first then... I'm leaving this thread open so that people can ask honest questions if any of the policies confuse them. But trolling in this stickied thread would be the fastest way to get banned from the forum.
