Minneapolis US-ENG Pre-game crowd at Kieran's. Standing room only. They were turning people away at the door by game time. I've been blown away by both the turnout at bars throughout the city and the general level of awareness and interest. What happened in the last 4 years that caused such a noticeable change??? I never thought I'd see the day when ALL of the big bars in downtown Minneapolis were packed (and turning people away) for a US soccer match as they were last Saturday. Simply amazing. There were great crowds yesterday morning too. Wednesday will be fun... Sorry for the poor quality of the pictures...they're from my phone. I'll bring a real camera on Wed.

More Minneapolis From the Nomad Pub in the Cedar-Riverside neighborhood on the West Bank (near the University of Minnesota). They had a block party for US-ENG complete with an outdoor jumbotron. Big crowd despite the rainy weather. BTW, if it hasn't already been done, someone should send a link to this thread to the official US soccer people on the ground in SA. I'm sure the players would love to see the support they're getting around the country.

Just a thought. How do we get the team to watch these videos? Can anyone send them to the team? Who has contacts with US Soccer? I don't know about you, but these videos would get my legs healed real quick for Saturday? Our boys need to know they are appreciated and loved at home.
