Okay some of you are aware, some are not, the team will be meeting with the public for First Friday next week at 314 E. Roosevelt (right in the heart of First Friday) at 6:00. LFR will be meeting up at FilmBar at 5:00 to watch US vs. Jamaica, from there (sometime shortly after 7:00) we will be marching to the public meet up. You are all welcome to join us.

I give kudos to the team for using First Friday as I believe it's a very good use of public interest. I will be passing out stickers for LFR 1881, not sure what kind of give-aways the team has planned.

Wow better turnout than we expected. 40+ in the march making noise, making our presence known. I feel really good about the humble beginnings we have going.

Wasn't able to attend last night...were there any major announcements or was it just a brand launch?

Owner and GM made intro, and Robertson (coach) alluded to a major signing of a player who has played in England...also their headquarters on Roosevelt is going to have a pub and shaded patio area...as they said you can go and watch soccer 7 days a week...

Well, that would be fun. Just slightly too far to walk from my office unless it's a really nice day, but worth checking out if they get it sorted.
