Yellow for LA, Matheau Hall, 60' I'm not even sure there was one. I didn't notice one when he said it happened. My clock has only fallen five seconds behind the game clock on my feed.
Blues with 2 subs. Yazdani and Dubois are on, only saw Pizarro go off; didn't get the second number. 65'
Phoenix sub Vickers on, they didn't show who left. 76' Phoenix sub Bowen off, didn't show or say who replaced him. 80' LA sub Cortez off for Sergio Ortiz, 82'
"It’s a great start. You can’t ask for anything better," Phoenix coach David Robertson said. Well, you could. Maybe.
I watched the game on my friends iPad (with just the standard browser, I think) and it worked great. It was bad at first because I was watching the Rapids' game on MLS Live with my laptop at the same time, but once I lowered the video quality on MLS Live, it worked fine. Like I said, I only watched parts of the game, but there is a lot of room for improvement, to say the least.
We did what we could to support the boys, they clearly need more time together. Also looked like some fitness issues as the game went on. This is to be expected though with how little time some of them had to prepare. We (LFR) had 13 people travel to LA (not sure they've ever had away fans before) and 40 people at Devil's Advocate to watch the internet stream.
Apparently Coach Robertson did not actually say this, LA's coach did. One online report of the game attributed the quote to Robertson. Apologies.
