I'm not a huge fan, but she usually provides a ton of energy and sounds a heck of a lot better than that. The sound tech for Katy Perry was TERRIBLE last night. Compare that to her SB performance.
My son is a student at WUSTL. At first students were excited about the debate. Then it came out that it would be pretty much impossible for students to get in to see it and, to add insult to injury, this would take the place of the big fall semester social event (some sort of music festival, I think). Now they are pretty pissed off.
1.) Damn! You're old! 2.) Damn! Nice job getting into a great school! 3.) Presidential debates at universities are a mixed bag for students. GOP primary debates are friggin' c-losed to both students and faculty, unless it's an uber right Christian college. Dem primary debate tickets for students are like red Dixie cups at a keg party. The GOP always tries to negotiate down the number of student tickets available for the full presidential debate, or so I've heard 2nd and 3rd hand from university administrators. I've been relatively successful at juicing up some low-level admins working in the offices that handle negotiations. Just gotta keep the wine flowing to get juicy info! But I draw the line at Merlot. If there's only Merlot available, I just won't go there. B/c I care about humanity, and I would never, ever inflict such punishment on my fellow man...
The HRC campaign would be wise to cut the Kzir Khan Convention speech into an ad and run it constantly. It would be a dagger to Drumpf, bait him to no end and shame the GOP. There is no way he wouldn't respond. As an aside, I live in the NoVa area and recalled seeing a tombstone with a crescent moon and star when we went to Arlington on July 4th. I wonder if that was his son's tombstone.
The pro-Hillary crowd (not sure if these were actual pro-Hillary voters or the actors they hired to replace the Dems that walked out of the convention in disgust) were given specific instructions to chant down delegate chants of "No More War" with "I'm With her!" and "Stop the TPP" with "Hill-a-Ree!" which is a good indication of how the Democrats are prepared to treat voices from the real Left throughout this election and beyond. The Clinton News Network (CNN) that takes marching orders from Hillary's staff ensured none of this ruined the optics on the night, but she won't be so lucky when half her own party shows up to boo her in general election debates. Anyone thinking Clinton won't be demolished in those debates is kidding themselves.

I wish you could honestly respond to posts. You've been pretty horrendous at predicting things on BigSoccer, and have made a lot of really stupid posts, but it's the insipid, snarky posts that add nothing that really irk me. If you spent less time making snarky posts and more time working on why you've been so wrong so often, maybe you'd feel more secure about yourself.

I'm watching convention speeches that I missed right now. Biden's speech had me literally in tears at the start and ready to go fight a bear by the end. I'm going to miss him.
