Kevin was too polite but clearly suffering with us all these years now grants you the availability to suffer 3 times as many games for the sixers. Although one can see what they trying to do unlike FO.

Damn, definetly my favorite of the union writers. Congratulations. But honestly whose left to cover the union? Zeitlin? No one covered them in as much detail as Kinkhead

We might get a nice piece in Obscure sports quarterly

I'm a DeGeorge fan, he's reliable and ruthless.

He hasn't missed anything Union since he took the beat from Vito. I wouldn't get too worried.

Earnie was one of my favorite players growing up, I was thrilled about him taking over the Union, but this statement below is complete 100% BS. Sounds exactly like something the previous guy would have said (although he would have thrown in a reference to the "brand").

We've been here 8 years. We know what the identity is. A team of young players "overlooked" by other teams, augmented by a sprinkling of veteran international players who had no value in the transfer market. It's a team that rarely is able to close out a game, let alone a season. It's a team that promises a youth movement, but will let them rot on the bench while older players who obviously have no future with the team eat up minutes.

Doesn't happen overnight? Chicago was the worst team the last 2 years... where are they now?

Another part of our 8-year-old identity is a complete lack of offensive strategy other than counterattacks. 3 coaches so far who had no idea how to implement an offensive scheme.

To be fair, they all had plenty of ideas...the problem is that they were all bad ones.

Rutgers played Doop, Scooter - Maria (I Like It Loud) on the PA, in their 56-0 loss to Ohio State last night.

I’m honestly just shocked Kessler’s name keeps coming up when he hasn’t been relevant to the soccer scene in years....

why does he, and others, take this place so seriously? I come here for mindless entertainment when I'm bored at work, nothing more. I think some of the answer comes from the fact that too many millennials think that owning a laptop and a blog make you a legit sports journalist*

*my apologies to the legit millennial sports journalists out there :)

Personally I share the same view as many of my fellow Ancient Astronaut Theorists that soccer, or as the ancient Aztec civilization called it - Ollama , is a gift from the gods - who were probably really just aliens but either way it's all a pretty big (soccer ) deal, right?

It’s kind of weird and sad to me that we had to have Harvey Weinstein, Charlie Rose, Matt Lauer, Al Franken, John Conyers, Garrison Keillor, Roy Moore, and a bunch of other powerful men go down (or not) before someone felt comfortable telling people that the asshole who lost his press pass five years ago sent them dick pics.
