Basically their strikers are out for weeks/months. Gonzalez and Guilherme. My eyes are again on Dzagoev and Krasic.
Don't know what you're referring to but if it's true it probably has something to do with Giggs being a total badass. Just my opinion though.
It will be interesting to see how the players cope with the plastic pitch, I know England struggled on it a few years ago. I think Fergie is right to leave the players carrying knocks at home, the pitch could make the injuries worse.
I'll probably catch this one at the pub. Which means I should get to work a little earlier than usual to make up for leaving. I'm apprehensive about this match for a couple reasons: 1. We've been let off the hook recently but I'm not sure if there's any real anger or hurt or even pride in our team anymore. 2. Traveling with a decimated squad and an eye on the derby this weekend.
learn something new everyday... --- i really wonder if Owen starts this game or if playing two in a row so quick together would be too much for him. with Rooney on the fence for Sunday i can't imagine SAF wanting to risk him. would love to see Macheda start.
I don't want Owen out there. 2 games in a row after coming off the groin is asking a bit much I think. Macheda would be nice.
SAF was asked about some memories from Moscow '08 and he said thas aside from losing his shoes that night one of his best memories was Anderson rifling his PK into the back of the net and how excited he was and the fans were.

That was a ********ing amazing moment there. The emotion was already up after Terry ********ed up, and and then Anderson just smashed that PK straight up the middle, running up to the fans and pumping his arms, etc. That seemed to swing the momentum even more back towards us. What a day man, that was one of the best days.
