I know exactly what he's talking about. I specifically remember someone saying that Arsenal had 2 players in their reserves better than Rossi. Bendtner and Lupoli.
I find it hilarious how he conveniently mentioned that he won't be replying to it anyway. "Hey, I'm gonna leave a silly comment but won't return to defend myself kthnxbye".
I remember that guy. It was Realwood. The funnier thing is that he mentioned Stokes! https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?p=10051634#post10051634
i've always thought this was neat about United when they travel: "when United travel in Europe the party always remains on English time." nothing groundbreaking but while they are over in Russia they remain on English time... same thing when they went over to Japan for the CWC. that way, when they get back home they are not as jet-lagged as they could be.
Not to shoot down your idea, but it seems they're scheduling all of the "Eastern" teams home games early.
well it's not my idea.. that was from the United blog. but it was also true the last time they were in Russia and when they went over to Japan. my contact at the club explained the whole thing to me. it's quite the science they have going on there when teams do big travel like this. i would think all teams have to play at the same local time for CL games so with the time difference that is why the games are earlier when they are in Russia... but i have no back-up on that.

What's wrong with that? We played them in '95 I believe. Lost 2-2 on aggregate, went out on away goals, Schmeichel scored the equaliser... What am I missing...?
We won some trophy against an English team from London there....was it a Community Shield or something? Someone slipped for a PK? Can't remember the specifics
Well, technically we drew the obvious one and Rotor Volgograd and Torpedo Moscow were both in the UEFA Cup.
Those two were the obvious ones I thought... London team? Community Shield? Who? PK slip? John Terry slipped once... Come on guys, help me out here...
