Maybe a week or two. However, I don't think he is going to get anything other than Jong Ajax matches. Onana has proven himself so far this season and Bosz already said that he is not going to start Krul if Onana is getting the job done. It will take a major screw up for Krul to get a first team start.
I'd like to see Ajax play 3-4-1-2 in the Eredivisie, at least. A team like this: Tete-Veltman -Sanchez; Bazoer-Riedewald-Van Beek-Nouri; Ziyech; Traoré-Dolberg. This would require a lot of movement and permutations in the offensive and defensive animation of the team.
^^Don't know why Clement was selected. He's really not very good and will probably be released at the end of the season. Only reason he is on Jong Ajax is because Sierhuis isn't quite ready to step up. Would like to see: Boer Tete, de Ligt, Westermann, Dijks Bazoer, van de Beek, Nouri Cerny, Cassiera, Clement/Younes
^^Forgot about el Ghazi. He should start on the wing. Where should Riedewald play? LB, CD, DM??? He's played all three and should be a regular somewhere.
Bringing up Eriksen's transfer doesn't make much sense for any current comparison. The transfer market has gone insane now even compared to just three years ago, when Eriksen was sold. Took a quick look at the EPL transfers that summer and this summer. Found in 2013 there were 18 transfers into the EPL of more than 10 million GBP. Six of those were by teams outside the perennial top 6 teams (Man C, Man U, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, and Tottenham). This past summer, there were 41 transfers into the EPL with 10 million GBP or more, twenty three of which were by teams outside the perennial top 6. In today's market, any EPL team including a newly promoted team would bid more than 12m for Eriksen in his situation at the time (ie 21 years old, one year left on contract, at Ajax). Now it's probably unlikely that anyone would pay 35 million for Ziyech unless Ajax does something significant in Europe. But given the crazy amount of cash flying around these days, I don't believe there is any good player that couldn't go for 25m Euros. All it takes is an EPL manager to want that player
I sincerely hope that the boys will be up to the event and win brilliantly. It's a challenge for them, even if the opponent is weak. If ever a nasty surprise happened, their credibility would suffer greatly. This match is a trap. https://www.ajaxshowtime.com/articl...or-nouri-de-ligt-en-cerny#sqpemaFhKMze7iqu.97
^^They face tough competition every week in the Jupiter league. Of course you have to play the game in order to win. According to the article, the probable lineup is: Boer; Tete, de Ligt, Riedewald, Dijks; Bazoer, van de Beek, Nouri; Cerny, Cassiera, el Ghazi
Nouri is a joy to watch: Nine of his 33 completed passes found Vaclav Cerny. Always eyeing a forward pass.
Plus he is popular with the supporters of both teams watching the match. The youngsters poured out of the stands to take pictures with him. He might not get back to Amsterdam tonight. I only saw the last 50 minutes of the match but it was exciting to see positive football.
Nice to see 2 midfielders on the top of the passing list, even if it was against weaker competition: van de Beek: 90/94 (inc 1 assist, 4 chances created) Nouri: 87/93 (incl 3 assists, 5 chances created)
I didn't see el Ghazi play in the first half but in the second half Bazoer and Tete did not impress. Perhaps it is a case of not having many matches so far this season. I though Bazoer looked like he didn't know what to do out there. All the Jong Ajax midfielders who played had a good sense of rhythm and anticipation, Bazoer had neither. I suspect he might be sold in January. Tete's offensive limitations may doom him in terms of what Bosz wants from a full back. de Boer tolerated it as his team was always attacking down the left side and it didn't matter. This season is more balanced. Tete's contract runs out in 2018 and he has shown no signs of extending it (Raiola is his agents and we know what that means). It's very difficult to see what the value of these three players is this season given big money was being talked about last season.
Tim Krul got some game time today in a friendly between Jong Ajax and the A-1 team. All did not go well as Krul's Jong team lost the match 5-0. Goals were scored by Dani de Wit (2), Justin Kluivert (2) and Cees de Wit.
El Ghazi seems to be the collateral victim of the emergence of Nouri https://www.ajaxshowtime.com/articl...e-voor-duel-met-excelsior#xqxMgmx0YME5FBew.97
Yeah, and van de Beek and Cerny are also in the selection. Bosz stated after the Cup match that el Ghazi was ill so it may be that his sickness prevents him from being on the bench tomorrow.
Err.. read that AEG is suspended until further notice after altercation with Bosz. This kid is spiraling down in the wrong direction, what a shame. It wasn't too long that I thought he could be the answer to toothless Oranje attack, now he can't even get playing times at club level.
I really think sinkgraven should follow what Zivkovic has done. I'm not sure if he is injured but his omission from the U21s jus shows how him playing at LB is hindering his development. He jus needs to keep playing at CM.
