Unfortunately, Persepolis was very weak during the transfer period this time around. Instead of solidifying the team and covering the weakness point we lost 3 NT members. We lost our best goal scorer Mehdi Taremi, our best FK shooter and our RB, Ramin Rezaian, and our young and promising CB Kanaani. The only good moves on this transfer window was signing Seyd Jalal as our experienced CB and Beiranvand as our goal keeper. Losing Bengar and Sosha was a right decision too.

Vahid Amiri is a good player but we had Alisha in that position. Signing him was a wrong move in my opinion. We could at least keep Kanaani with that money. With current situation we are vulnerable in defense once again. Ramin Rezaian leaving the team reduces our fire power because his replacement is older, slower and not as good as him in offense. But Mahini is better in defense in RB position. We have two LW who are in same caliber in Amiri and Alisha, but we have no center forward. Alipour is a RW/SS not a center forward. We could have some chances if we kept Bengston but we sent him off along Umania and Maric. In my opinion we needed Maric and Bengston at least.

Our current CB is experience but old and slow, and I don't know if this Australian CB can cover him enough. Only Kanaani could make the good combination works. Taremi himself was a good player scoring and creating opportunities for other players. Now we need a player like Gucci more than ever. Alipour alone can not do shit for us we need at least a couple of decent forwards otherwise we don't see the same fire power of last season. At the moment Persepolis has lost 30% fire power and the problems in defense is unresolved. SS Tehran completely griped Persepolis in hashie and BS while they were cherry picking best players in PGPL with dirty money in background and sport minister backing their team.

I don't think Persepolis can claim ACL title any longer (we could if we had only added Husseini and Beiranvand while keeping Kanaani and the rest of players). If Persepolis wont sign a solid CB and a couple of good forwards we can make sure we can not even aim for PGPL title next year. Well done incompetent managers you brought us down again.

So far by signing Ukrainian defense and forward, an Australian CB and a Croat second GK we look Ok but not as young team as last season. Our defense looks slow but we still manage to stay on top position of PGPL. The rough path starts from week 5th with Tractor Sazi, SS, Sepahan, Naft, ...

Persepolis got the first loss of this season by Zob. It should be a good lesson for the boys to work harder. ACL won't be easy on them. We need to bring back Sasan Ansari and sat Taremi on the bench.

We don't like to see SS so weak. Being champion without defeating a strong SS doesn't feel good. SS should take its shit together and come back strong once again.

We are already Champions 3 weeks remaining to the end of this season. This week we will celebrate after the match vs Padideh in Mashahd.

Season 2017-2018 Persepolis is in second spot after 11 weeks with one match to be played later. So if we win that match Persepolis will move to top spot. Persepolis advanced up to semi final stage in AFC Champion league 2017 which is not bad.

As I have predicted many people would leave and the team will be gripped in financial problem. This is the hallmark of any Iranian club after a successful season.

Soroush Rafie left us for Qatar, Ramin Rezaian left us for Belgium, Taremi got suspended by Fifa for next 4 month, Musalman and Beiranvand most likely leave in half season or at best at the end of the season. Alisha left us last year, Nariman jahan and Chaab also left us. Fifa banned us up to next year winter from signing any new players because of debt and unpaid wages and their cases in fifa. Kamal Kamyabinia and Beiro are not that reliable after their injuries. Amiri has declined tremendously since his first half season in Persepolis. We have only people like Alipour, Mensha, Moharami and Ansari to rely for now. We are desperate to sign some quality players if we want to keep our form as one of top clubs in IPL.

Iranian clubs may not be eligible to play in AFC champions league next year due to financial problems. It will be a waste not watching Persepolis on Asian competitions now. The prime time has passed and Persepolis need young and hungry blood to continue this ride.
