The Cascade Surge 1-Nil over The Chico Rooks.
    Patrick Daka 48th minute.

Pretty much Cascade puled out a win over a (at least in my eyes) much more skilled Chico side.

The So Cal Seahorses 2-Nil over the Spokane Shadow.
(I'm not sure who scored for So-Cal, I'll update tomorrow.)

The home side was just plain out played by a better So-Cal team. The Seahorses dominated just about all aspects of the game with a huge advantage in the air.

Cascade and So-Cal will meet tomorrow for a spot in the final four.

    Attendance 1100.

Best seats in the house, 9 bucks for both games. What a deal! :)

Woo-hoo, go Surge! I wouldn't mind having the PDL final four down here in Oregon. I went to the final four in 1999 when it was up there in Spokane, and had a great time! :)

Thanks for the 411 (or 114 as they say in the Orient), Coach, however disappointing. Good to see you picking up where I left off.

Well I do what I can. ;) It was disappointing because the Shadow played their guts out, but just couldn't get any quality scoring chances. Unlike the very choppy and at times a little thugish Chico/Cascade game, this one was an pure show of class by both teams. I can't say anything bad about the Seahorses (said for their name maybe), I was really impressed by their sportsmanship.

Hope all is well in the Far East! Cheers!

    Go Surge!

Good to see Oregon well-represented. If they do end up playing the next round in Salem expect a nice turn out from the Timbers Army boys.
