I mean it looked like he is/was not searching for a new club despite having zero chances. But if it's true that he's at least looking for other clubs I'm fine with it.

Yeah, that's his official instagram (Daughter's name is Eden), and this is the missus' page: https://www.instagram.com/anna_s.g/?hl=en (Seems like she did a lot of cleaning).

Btw, I keep thinking you're SOT because of the 태극기 avatar.

Yeah, she's been learning (Also from Park Joo-ho as well.), but I think they've been conversing in English at first. And, I hear ya, the least is to show full support even in a shit situation.

Some of y'all give grief to guys like PJH and Ji for aspirational moves that didn't work out but I think Sahin's article today, in addition to being a wonderful read in isolation, really captured the appeal of joining Dortmund but more importantly how he would always live with regret if he hadn't taken the move to RM even though we know now how poorly it went.

Of course thats one point we need to appreciate and understand. The problem is when a player doesnt accept that he is not longer needed. But I guess money plays also a part.

First we have to assume that he has offers but how much interest was there? Its not like there are lots of rumors involving him where we can say he made a mistake. Mainz dismissed possibility of return immediately and the Serie A link seemed ridiculous as we know about most italian links to Korean players. And even when he moved to Dortmund, Mainz dragged their feet on a fair market deal, Dortmund only bought him when pressed with injuries and other clubs weren't clamoring for his services.

Who knows how much AFC interest there was even given his low profile on KNT and people even here not noticing his good showings at Mainz? I'd imagine Zorc and the gang would be flogging any Asian interest to the press to get an outsized fee.

He's now 30, and not in the mold of what clubs are looking for in FBs even if they'd be better served by him than a guy who is fast and not much else.

And I still bet that if he is to get another chance, that training under Tuchel for a year without major minutes would be better than whatever he'd have gotten say in China looking at HJH.

Park has a considerable wage. Unless his agents lowers the demands, it's not going to be easy for him to change club now.

Just signed Jeremy Toljan (the guy who kicked out KJS from Hoffenheim starting 11). Compared to Schmelzer or Durm (or, sadly also Park), he's not injury prone and can play both flanks. Also, Tuchel is long gone and the new manager has no relations to PJH. Objectively regarded, he's just not on BVB level, so how should the new manager find a place for him? Even once-regarded-as-a-big-talent Rode struggles with that and Emre Mor was sold this summer.
