    He's stated that he is interested in playing for Mexico. But he's young, so who knows what will happen.

    yeah, I just clicked on that link to the MLSnet story earlier in the thread and read the quote about "the [Tricolores] players I see on TV and admire." but he also stated in that article that his favorite player was Ronaldinho, and I'd take odds that that has changed since last April.

    Leyva's old club and Ed's "Texas Football Club" are one in the same.

    Leyva has many old clubs. He played for Comets under David Hudgell (now the top Texans coach) for two years. When Hudgell left, he stayed with Comets for another year under David Doyle. Then Doyle went to Texans and Leyva went to Everton (now TFC) and played for Adam Wells. After one year there, he went over to Andromeda, which that particular Andro team is now Ayses.
