Thirty minutes into the game Roma are up 3-0.
Taddei as one and Mancini has two.

We're running riot! :D Fiorentina, meantime, is tied with
Treviso 1-1. We need things to stay this way (or to end
    worse for the Tuscans .......)

A little twist now. Palermo have pulled back two goals
while Fiorentina is now up one goal.

Damnit. Montolivo scored (gran' gol), so Fiorentina is
up 3-1. They're not dropping points now and we need
a goal to keep pace. 3-3 around the 80th min.

Match reports don't really provide much information here. Can someone provide a more detailed report about a draw that should never occur? How does Roma go from 3 goals to the good to a draw? Did they just sit back and defend or did Palermo play horribly in the first half and pick it up in the second half? What's the story here? This is the kind of thing that would have happened last season (or did happen, for those of us who can't get the horror of that loss to Real Madrid out of our minds). Take care.

Palermo did play horribly in the first half, minus the first few minutes. But from the start of the second half they really started outplaying us. We attacked and moved the ball around but we could'nt penetrate their defense and Palermo did really well on the counter because the crowd was behind them vehemently. Once they got one back they quickly nabbed a second the third was an insane bicycle kick by Barone.

Very dissapointing for us, to allow three goals and concede an away draw. Now that Fiorentina beat Treviso we are behind them in 5th place. However, if I could choose one team in Serie A to concede points to, it would be Palermo, a young Southern team with very talented Azzurri hopefuls.

Damn. I didn't get to see it thatnks to GolTV and the absolute horrible description in the guide. I picked the one I thought was it. It only said "Italian football (2001)". It recorded the second half.

    I didn't watch it I was so mad and now I'm glad I didn't.

Directv and Goltv get you $h!t together.
