I really think you need to let him go at that point. The whole argument for keeping him longer really goes out the window at that point. The front office should really use it as a signal of intent for next season.
Just like every year we have a few great talents that are squandered. For me Tyler Boyd is one of those talents. He has been great in the games I have watched. He has some ball control and crossing accuracy that isn’t common in this league.
I mean, they will say the loss of Chich, Caceres, Brugs, Calegari and even Neal had a lot to do with and they aren't wrong. They wont take the overall history of his time at Galaxy.
The problem I have is that the huge rebuild coming up will be in Greg's hands almost completely. That scares the hell out of me.
