No game thread yet? Is everyone too tired from the 3-in-8 game week, or are people still driving home from Saturday's game?

Rapids are undefeated at home and Sounders are winless on the road.

If Papa was healthy I'd say it was a lock. Soccer gods are funny that way.

Still living off the high from the last match.

As for this match, I am hoping that JJ will play like he did v RBNY. If he does the Rapids will be hard to defeat.

My initial reaction to Pappa's injury and him being replaced by Badji is similar to many others here. But on reflection I am wondering if he will continue to feed off of JJ/ Last weekend JJ Sprung him twice. If they are together for most of the match and the Flounders play a high line Badji may be able to take advantage.

Props for the thread title: "Ex-Playoff Quality Team."

Not that this really answers the question, but they do the Denver Comic Con.

This will be a tough one without Pappa creating.

Keep in mind that Jermaine Jones looks to be pretty good at creating opportunities for others. Most likely he'll be in the #10 role again as he was last week. He really takes the team to a different level.

This isn't to say that Pappa is insignificant. Obviously he's been key this season and when he returns from injury he will make the Rapids better, no doubt.

A reminder to all attending the match, the new security measures may slow entry into the stadium.

Agreed. Morris scores his second for SEA but Gashi with a brace and Jones with the extra goal for the good guys.

I'm feeling optimistic about this one. Been a long time since I've felt that way about the Rapids. I'm thinking a 2-0 win, especially if Dempsey and Valdez are out.

So that means we're probably going to lose 2-0.

I'm going to predict a Seattle win as well. They are starting to gel.
    Rapids 2-3 Seattle.

How about 2-1 Rapids, goals by Jones and Solignac?
