No game thread yet? Is everyone too tired from the 3-in-8 game week, or are people still driving home from Saturday's game? Rapids are undefeated at home and Sounders are winless on the road.
Hmm, maybe the Admiral will be at the game: Join us for Star Wars night at Dick's Sporting Goods Park
"A portion of each ticket will go back to the non-profit Pop Culture Classroom." What the shit is a Pop Culture Classroom?
Still living off the high from the last match. As for this match, I am hoping that JJ will play like he did v RBNY. If he does the Rapids will be hard to defeat. My initial reaction to Pappa's injury and him being replaced by Badji is similar to many others here. But on reflection I am wondering if he will continue to feed off of JJ/ Last weekend JJ Sprung him twice. If they are together for most of the match and the Flounders play a high line Badji may be able to take advantage. Props for the thread title: "Ex-Playoff Quality Team."

Today (Friday) was the 5th anniverary of the Zakuani injury. Good interview with Zak on the Sounders site.
Keep in mind that Jermaine Jones looks to be pretty good at creating opportunities for others. Most likely he'll be in the #10 role again as he was last week. He really takes the team to a different level. This isn't to say that Pappa is insignificant. Obviously he's been key this season and when he returns from injury he will make the Rapids better, no doubt.
1-1 draw, goal by Solignac. The injuries on both sides will make this game choppy. I think both sides will struggle to dominate the game and that will lead to a draw. Jones springs Solignac for ours. http://view-from-the-couch.blogspot.com/2016/04/rapids-face-sounders-without-ex-sounder.html
Clint Dempsey, Nelson Valdez could both miss #Sounders vs. #Rapids96 match: https://t.co/RwfSZHGwzd by @mattpentz— Daniel Boniface (@danielboniface) April 23, 2016
Agreed. Morris scores his second for SEA but Gashi with a brace and Jones with the extra goal for the good guys.
I'm feeling optimistic about this one. Been a long time since I've felt that way about the Rapids. I'm thinking a 2-0 win, especially if Dempsey and Valdez are out. So that means we're probably going to lose 2-0.
I'm going to predict a Seattle win as well. They are starting to gel. Rapids 2-3 Seattle. Our defense struggles tonight Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
