It's time Howard finds the bench. It's embarrising now. When he makes a save it's typically with his feet. Maybe the Avalanche could use him. And all this watching the ball go in is infuriating.
Kroenke is paying 1.6 bill of his own money for their stadium in LA (the Rams). Watching this game, you can really tell how much he cares about the Rapids. Just fire everyone, coaches, players, trainers, front office. It will only help!!!
3 of the 4 guys that make the most (Aigner, Gashi, Boli) don't play much so we're not getting much for our $$$
This has nothing to do with Kronke. The rapids are in the top 1/3 of payroll. The issue is most if that payroll is either at home or on the bench, not to mention $2.5 Mil if it watching the game in goal.
I still don't like an owner who has treated his MLS team like a minor league team. That is all MLS is to him.
Enough about the field already! We know it's a small field and it's raining! What we need is some meaningful commentary - who's playing well (if anybody), what tactical changes are being made or should be made, etc
Think Castillo's our best pickup this season. Really like the way he takes the ball and runs at the other team.
I wish Howard would join that list... Our offense was pathetic this game, but Two-Million-Dollar-Timmy was as well.
I actually watched this trashfest today. The change since last season is impressive. In 2017, the Rapids were in last place in the west. At the moment, the Rapids are again in last place in the west. Only now, last place is 12th, rather than 11th. Just think, in 2019, if the MLS goes to three conferences with the expansion, the Rapids could improve to an 8th place last place position. Going back to watch baseball. At least the MLB season is entertaining. I am very glad I don't have season tickets for the Colorado Kroenkes any more.
Not much...in his very first appearance there was a nice hustle to track back and deftly steal a ball. I thought it was a sign of things to come. Since then I've not seen many touches of any kind. On his highlights reel, I don't remember him running under long passes. He converted a lot of shots from the area, and unless a Rapid is outrunning the D for a long pass or outfighting them for a long pass into the box, he's not going to see many shots from the area. Maybe the problem is calling it "the area." Maybe everyone has to be more specific so they know where it is.
Being British I stayed up and watched the wedding here in AZ until 6 a.m.then watched the game at 10a.m. Now I wish I had just gone to bed at 6! That was not worth missing a nights sleep for. Being tired makes me grumpy and now I will be REALLY grumpy. This nonsense has got to stop!
