Hopefuly we'll see sa few youngsters who deserve more minutes, something like this : Klinsmann/other GK Araujo Pipo/DePuy Steres Traore Harvey Corona/Kljestan Alvarez Pavon Chicharito Koreniuk That's a competitive lineup. At least no Bingham, no Insua, no Kitchen please, they don't have any future with the club.
If Dom knew he was coming back, I expect that’s what he would do. Not sure his interests are aligned though since a win helps him either get a job elsewhere or look good for the LAG decisiomakers (who may not give him a pass because he started young players or may not consider him a legit candidate regardless). I could see Alvarez at AM since Lletget and Dos Santos are out, but I’m not sure how many other changes he’ll make to the starting lineup except for injury/fitness reasons.
Well no surprise there. Bingham and Kitchen until the last game of their contracts. Dom is going for his job, not the future of our club. I can understand it.
I didn't notice, but Pavon is wearing the captain armband. Very strange for a player who could play his last game as a G.
So spoilers for the eastern conference. Just saw the two expansion teams made the playoffs. Admittedly 10 teams instead of 8 made it through and the east seems less competitive, but still.
I think the job sailed when they didn't qualify for the playoffs. They didn't win against Seattle. I would have liked to seen th future in players like Harvey and Dunbar. Is Vom Steeg ever going to get a shot to play in an MLS game? Come on. See no point in playing Kitchen and Bingham who will not be here next year.
I don't see that Dom is discarded for any reason as potential coach. As for the young guys, the night is also still young...
