Well, we are supposed to at least try to play defense when we have a 1-0 lead in the 90+ minutes. Oh, well.
Words cannot express how much I don't want to see Perry Kitchen in a Galaxy jersey ever again. EVER. AGAIN. Love you guys, here's to 2021.
Well I hope we play the young guys on Sunday and let them have a chance to show us what they’ve got. Then I’m fine with basically letting go anyone not named Araujo from the team...
I was about to write that I was amazed by how our casting errors (Bingham, Pipo, Kitchen, Chicharito) have looked good recently.
Chicharito is nothing special, he should have won us that game. I know they are tired, but how come the last 10 minutes of the game is basically us kicking the ball straight back to Seattle? Can no one get open for an outlet pass, or hold the ball and draw a foul? Basic soccer IQ lacking.
Just re-watched the Seattle goal, once again Insua failed to track his man (Ruidiaz). The last couple of days I've been surprised by how many Galaxy supporters gave him the DOTY award, it's completely crazy to me (to be fair the majority gave it to Araujo but there were many voters for Insua too). Yony has played 440 minutes for us and as much I can see some qualities as a winger (fast and physical), I'm not impressed. Another Favio/Antuna : decent player but not worth the price/salary/international spot.
The game overall wasn't too bad. The Gs eas overrun and the game was fairly even throughout. Just a lapse ar the end.
Napper's post reminded me, but the Gs were unlucky early on in the match. Seattle had a goal line saving header that denied a goal. Zubak also missed a golden opportunity header from a beautiful cross from Seb. While Chich scored a goal on a pretty nicely done goal by him and Efain, he did also badly missed a good opportunity towards the end.
True unless the player coming out had no legs left. Feltscher could have been the best of the bad choices available if a sub was required.
Scoring opportunities was something like 8-2 in the Galaxy’s favor. So that was new. But the final results was more of the same.
